I find all this quite sad

Where's the positivity guys? We finished 7th in the premier league and now in Europe, it doesn't and won't probably get any better than this.

Some of the negativity from some posters is staggering.

If anyone wants a reality check just tune in to EPL goals on Sunday-on now. Empty stadiums and diabolical defending with numerous clubs with nothing to play for

Roll on Arsenal v Burnley

So were some of the moans and booing that came out of the Bob Lord stand yesterday, it's beyond belief the negativity. I saw Dyche look towards the stand with a look of WTF on his face. Fans need to realise how far we have come and that we are not Real Madrid.

The negative stuff is difficult to get my head around.
It's been a slow road back from near oblivion.
Personally, the way football has gone, couldn't see us getting back into the top league without a Sugar Daddy.
The fact we've not only done it without one, but also qualified for Europe, is something to lap up, enjoy and be proud of.
Well, you'd think so, anyway...

I'm sure some of the booing was aimed at Brightons tactics and the ref at least I hope it was.

fans can get absorbed by what's happening in front of them on a particular day and become frustrated, that's just raw emotion, part of football.
But if a Burnley fan Boos the team in the present era then he should be hauled onto the centre circle and vapourised by a giant laser beam.

To be honest Europe (and I am not being presumptious) has not even sunk in yet. The benefits that that in itself brings to the club and town are immense. From being a club a few years ago that good players would have thought twice about joining, we are now a very attractive club to join, where players constantly show a real unity and where the manager is held in very high regard by just about every sports pundit. And a club (God willing) not likely to drawn into a dog fight in the next 12 months

Lennon can't be arsed, Tarky has had his head turned and Dyche is on his way at the end of the season.

Forget the Orient game. These are truly worrying times.

We are definitely Premier League elite when it comes to moaning. It's constant regardless of winning, losing or getting a draw. Frustration is understandable but seriously, we do have an element of people who moan for the sake of moaning.

What Burnley do have, and this Messageboard seems to proliferate with them, is Fans who seem very keen to tell other Fans that they are being Burnley Fans badly.

 I find it hilarious when idiots pop up to tell me i'm not a true Claret because i have a different attitude to them.

Edit: like just the other week when i said i'd have found it hilarious if Southampton had won the cup. Not because i wanted them to win the cup, just that it would be Sod's Law. And Sod's Law is funny to me.
If i'm playing poker and i'm all-in on a flopped full house against a pocket pair i'm gonna laugh my tits of if he goes runner-runner and makes quads. It doesn't mean i didn't want to win the pot, it means I find it funny that the highly-unlikely thing happened to **** me over in a game.

Some people take life far too seriously. These people should be executed.

I find it quite sad that certain posters can only compare where we are today with where we were 30 years ago and use it as a blanket ban on saying anything negative about some truly shocking performances.

stop press.... users of a forum discuss a poor performance and are now deemed to be moaners....

Shows the times have changed where we are disappointed with not putting a performance worthy of getting 3 points in the premier league..

It wasn't that long ago where we would be happy to get a point.

Even SD said this post match that this was how he and the team were feeling.

Some people on here just like to cause a drama out of nothing to try and prove their uber fan status.

All the above are minor problems and can be overcome quite easily.

Burnley fans are no different to any other fans in respect of moaning.

Look at any message board for any team and folk will be moaning about something.

I’ve not looked but I bet there are Blackburn fans moaning about losing yesterday, despite having had their best season in 15 years.

It’s what football fans do. Nothing more, nothing less.

The booing and moan that came from the Bob Lord was because we ended up passing the ball back to Pope; there was no movement up top, so it went back with a real groan and numerous boo's. I would much rather keep possession and have a back pass than risk losing it and put further pressure on ourselves. We did huff and puff yesterday and it wasn't very entertaining, however we kept another clean sheet, we gained a point and are one point short of guaranteed European footy.

I call that stunning, others mustn't agree with the groans and moans I heard.

Awesome season, very happy with 7th anyone that can moan about 7th needs to give their head a wobble. That said individuals could certainly have performed better on occasions and it’s brilliant we can still moan from the lofty position of 7th. UTC

There was a lot of moaning, at things like passing back to Pope instead of getting forwards, around where I was sitting. I didn't hear any actual booing though and I'd find anyone who does boo at a passage of play these days very strange.

Yesterday wasn't brilliant, but they deserve a few off days. Not sure how anyone can be negative given what a season we've had. A big summer ahead of us, where for once we may be able to attract some more real quality.

If you're annoyed by the negativity then get on the 'Cordless Vacuum' thread.

That's where all the happiness is right now.

There's a real cool vibe on that one.

Not sure where everyone sits but around me it was pretty much a unanimous agreement that nowt happened for 90 mins but we’re 99% in Europe. Hardly enough drama to merit a post, let alone a thread.

You’re hardly going to be bouncing out of the Turf after a 0-0 which in Dyche’s words was somewhat flat. At the same time, I didn’t hear any moaning or whinging. This quest for supporting perfection is weird.

If it’s all signed and sealed by the Bournemouth game it’ll be rocking again.
