There were quite a few scenes around Burnley. There was one scene along Smalley Street looking towards Tod Road.

Good few scenes were filmed in Todmorden. I worked there at the time and was forever seeing small crowds gathered round watching the filming.

Great news.... They came and filmed at our school one day (Western CP) in stacksteads. I'm playing football in the background in one of the shots and a couple of my mates got small speaking parts.

There was one episode where there was a fire in a nightclub. I'm pretty sure it was filmed in the Trax in Nelson.

They used Burnley central library for the court I think and the husband of the first WPC was a social worker and his office was by the fire station or just round the corner by St. Teds.

They also threw a grate through the window of the King's Arms in Padiham, the locals never batted an eyelid.

I THINK in real life the middle aged sergeant actually lived in Barley as around that time I saw him "off duty" in The Pendle Inn more than once.

I remember it featuring Hollingreave Road. I think there was a shop just down from the Butterfly (on the left as you're walking down) and they were filmed coming out of there (something like that).

I can remember them filming on the spare land at the back of Sunderland Street in Rosegrove near the Railway Club. And also up near Mr Magic in Padiham and at the lights at the top of Manny Road

I'd forgotten about that one, they used Charlie Webster's butchers shop for an episode with an animal rights storyline.

Missus & I are just watching the 3rd episode and recognised the junction of Blackburn Road & Simonstone Lane where Inspector Jean Darblay and a detective up from the smoke turn left into the Lane & Drive up towards Read.
