I've just started watching the new series. Thoughts? I'm a bit fan of when they did Top Gear, but it shouts out to me... nah.

I couldn't watch anything with Clarkson in, I couldn't afford all the new tv's. A truly odious person.

Watched it out of curiosity and got every question right, most of them before the four options came up. Is it getting easier?

Yeh, you're right Riley the contestants weren't up to much. It is a decent quiz show though, Clarkson or not.

Questions certainly looked pretty straightforward. But then again, on the Chase one person didn't even know that Angel Falls was in Venezuela, so maybe they just didn't get the interest they expected.

Started watching but turned off half way through the 2nd contestant..... Think it was the already at the 4th or 5th ad break.
It was appallingly bad (imo). The host, the speed it took to get an answer (to the most rudimentary general knowledge questions), the boring contestants and the ad breaks...
Equals turn off.

I heard this storey on sky news - Clarkson was in awe and claimed they were the best competitor the show has ever seen..
Some going when Pat from eggheads won a million knowing the million pound question answer and used up two remaining lifelines just because he could..

I agree that saying there's been a winner is a spoiler, but I don't generally watch it.
The first few questions are easy + a lot of people peak around 64k + adverts, so you don't get that many decent questions in the hour anyway.
