To cut a long story short.

I was looking for a ticket for a band playing in the US tonight. I put a post up on a forum just like this. Girl contacts me via PM. We share emails says she’ll meet me at the airport. She misses flight. Kicks up a fuss. Gets put on next flight. Kicked off it due to earlier fuss. Sends me tickets anyway so I can try go (venue strict and the person who bought thems name on ticket so they have to be in attendance). Just thought Id check my bank balance (llodys) says balance unavailable. She then emails back saying shes on the next flight. Weve shared numbers and email.

Am I just being paranoid here??

Hopefully its just that.

Ive also checked in at an hostel/drugs den/hoe house type joint. The girl mentioned has apparently “snuck” on the plane. She also knows where Im staying as was gonna meet there.

Anyway Ill keep you all posted on the upcoming events. This could be a classic

She lands at 9.15 plus 30mins to venue. So shes gonna miss it anyways.

Do I go in with the tickets and the prints she has dont work? Or not bother and forget this while event?

Am I getting this right? You wanted to see a band play in the US, advertised for tickets on a website and got contacted by some girl who you blindly arranged to meet at an airport to fly to the US? And she didn’t turn up but forwa4ded the tickets, presumably electronically, and you’re actually at the gig in the US?

Is that correct?

Yea basically. I only flew in today at 3pm and she was supposedly get there at 4.30pm. So we were gonna meet there. The electronic tickets have her name on and she has to be present for me to get in. So she missed the flight and arrange to meet be at my hotel instead as its pretty close to the venue and I didnt have to wait at the airport for 4 hours. She was then thrown of the one landing at 7pm but on the one at 9.15pm.

She’s also has printed tickets. So If I go and get in hers maybe cancelled if she tries the same one. But by the time she gets there it’ll be almost if not over.

Do I go without here or not?

Yeah thats why im abit puzzled. She apparently missed the first flight by 10mins and kicked up a huge fuss. So booked on the next one but wasnt allowed on it. Which is odd. She sent me the flight details etc for when I was supposed to meet her and they checked out. So does the next one too.

Ive got the tickets all printed and Im ready to go.

She does seem pretty genuine.

Only sent the tickets for me after she missed the second flight and didnt think she could get here. She tried putting them up on twickets before she sent them too.

The ban were Arctic Monkeys at Hollywood Forever which is an incredible venue. And yeah she alright!!

She stayed in another room at the hostel
We had breakfast
Were gonna meet up

Borrowed my charger and whilst coming back from the store I saw her leaving and as its after checkout time and she was showing me a place she was gonna stay at as she gets 80% off at the Hilton I presumed she left.

She didnt meet up at arranged time and not answering text. Sent another message saying thats not cool.

Checked with reception and said shes booked another night and they checked the room and her stuff his here and is staying here again tonight

So this could get interesting. This little story may still have life left for you all
