The Tonight programme is airing at 7.30 tonight, may prove interesting viewing, i watched a documentary last year about these gangs and they are very organised and carry out their attacks in military fashion, there are some real headcases in charge of these gangs and we all know just how much they despise England supporters, despite the security forces telling us things will be safe for fans from other countries, i wouldnt trust them at all. You wouldnt get me going out there thats for sure.

I think the FCO need to update their travel advice on that shithole.

Given how much of a PR exercise this tournament is for Putin/Russia I don't think there's much to worry about tbh. Wouldn't be worth the ramifications for these gangs and their organisers.

Russia talking about mass hooligan bans etc I’d imagine if Russia say “ behave” their hools most likely will.

They don’t hate the English per se , the English were the only country who were likely to give them any (however poor ) hool action in France . They have far more animosity to Poles or Germans . I’d expect em to be knocked out the group stage by Egypt and Uraguay

Tbh Eng fans these days the vast vast majority are your uberfan types and families and bears little resemblance to the 90’s and noughties in either pre or on match routine and atmosphere .
