So 100% has, in the space of a few minutes, become you hoping it is true.

As yet I'm not sold on the idea of bringing back a 29 year old (when season starts) with a 1-4 goal scoring record for £12 million plus. Hasn't Vokes got a similar record for us?

Sorry what I mean is they let it slip last night and when asked by me they said 100% he's coming back to Burnley don't tell anyone who told you. I personally hope fingers crossed this is true

Jay offers so much more than Sam, such as the ability the play well anywhere across the front and as a number 10. If he can pass a medical he is a good option for me. I'd prefer a real specialist nr 10 instead, but can't see us paying the wages/fees needed to get one.
I'd still keep sam if he wants to stay/accept that he won't start much.

Why on earth would anyone compare Jay Rod with Sam?

Bizarre comparison that you seem to bring up every single time the name Jay Rod pops up on this forum.

Agent doing the Nixon “Chuck enough mud and it’ll stick” method?

I just posted the above examples because I don't think it's wise to announce things as 100% until they're done. Agent_claret has a history of stating things as fact without providing sources and when they don't happen often enough, it's easy to lose some credibility.
For the record, I think the Jay Rod deal could happen but there's a big difference between thinking and hoping something will happen and announcing it as being a done deal.
