Could be back here again on the Turf Moor pitch, if they get through their Europa Cup 1st round qualifying match. I hope he has another great few years up there he is decent bloke, he promised a friends son that he would get Sadio Mane’s shirt after the Liverpool game and he got it.

I sat next to him this morning in Manchester Airport , now never said anything maybe i should have .

That'd be something of an anti-climax.

I'll miss him next season. He's a far better player than some would suggest and his versatility over the years has been essential. We were never going to offer him 4 years though so he's right to move on. Gerrard must see him as a main man for them to offer such a long contact. Hope it goes well for him.

A good Championship player who couldn't raise his game to the demands skillwise and ability wise to the Premier league.
Good luck to him in the lower league North of the Border.
The rules are a little fluid and Scottie will have to vastly improve his tackling and ball retention.

I was in one of the corporate boxes for yesterday’s match and Scot’s wife came wandering through after the game to collect as many programmes with Scot on the front as possible. I had a brief chat with her and wished her and hubby all the best for life in Glasgow.

My favourite Scotty Arfield celebration was the finger wagging one after the late winner against Everton. Loved it!

Was a key figure in turning our club round. What a signing. Cant believe Huddersfield let him, but I guess they got their revenge with Wells !!

I know it will be that goal at Ewood that he is remembered for but another one that put a big smile on my face was that curler at Brentford, following the lay off by Andre Gray.
