Talksport slagging off Dyche
Adrian Durham saying he's going to shine a light on Sean Dyche and his management skills. Gobbing off about "when a teams rubbish you should say they're rubbish. I'm not gonna be part of this love in for Sean Dyche. It's ridiculous that he was touted for manager of the season"
Says he's covering Burnley and Dyche from 6 o'clock onwards.

It’s also the same guy who said that Burnley were absolutely superb and won in style, away at Chelsea.

Re: Talksport slagging off Dyche
He'sva better manager than Adrian Durham is a presenter.
Even if all Dyche had acheived whilst he was here was The Barnfield Centre he'd still have managed the club excellently even if we were a mid table Championship club.
Slag off the playing style if you like, but a guy who has helped to improve everything about the club has got to be a very good manager.

I wonder how many times he has watched us ?
Re: Talksport slagging off Dyche
I heard some of it. I kinda get Durham's point. Are Burnley easy on the eye? Alot of the times no. But we are not awash with unlimited top 6 billions.
Is Dyche a bad manager. Deffo not we earn the right to win games very well by doing the ugly horrible stuff first. I once heard a Brian Clough quote something along the lines of you start a game with a poibt. First job is don't lose that point. Then play on from there. (or something along those lines). And Cloughie played the game in the 'right' way

Re: Talksport slagging off Dyche
Imagine how Sean would react. Would be something along the lines of “he is doing what he is paid to do” “courting controversy “”won’t affect how we see ourselves or how we do our job”. In a way the fact you posted means you have done what he wanted.

Re: Talksport slagging off Dyche
He's been talking the same shite for weeks. It's envy, but don't bother putting him right, like all the dross on Talkshite, they try to provoke interest by causing an argument.
His best effort so far is that we don't deserve to be in Europe because we don't score enough goals. Using a similar argument, we could argue that we should be in the Champions League, because we've conceded less than Spurs and Liverpool.
He really is thick, watch something more interesting on the telly, like the adverts.

I think I'd be a better manager than Durham is a presenter. This is the idiot who was demanding that Matic's red card against us should be transferred to Ashley Barnes and Chelsea be awarded three points despite not beating us.Caernarfon_Claret wrote:He'sva better manager than Adrian Durham is a presenter.

It's a pathetic attempt at "good cop, bad cop" scenario that some people
like to listen to and take seriously.

Re: Talksport slagging off Dyche
Durham sits with his fishing rod out from the second Drivetime begins. I am relatively certain he just changes which club he is having a pop at each day as it seems so scattergun.
Knows what he is doing as it’s all just a ploy to drive up the phone in’s and provoke arguments. He is a nob, but don’t get offended, that’s all he is wanting.

Jedi has nailed it
It a different club every hour, and he'll have a pop to get people to listen.
He's very good on his saturday match day show though, but I can't cope with him during the week!

He doesn’t even believe what he’s saying. It’s a slow news day and he needs to come out with an outrageous statement to get more morons listening and calling his show

If his point is about the Peemier league being a poor league, I would agree. If he is in any way trying to suggest that us Finishing 7th isn’t and amazing achievement then he is speaking out of his Ginger ass as usual.

From his wiki page:"He was described in The Guardian as an "expert phone-in troll, arrogantly spouting inflammatory football opinions in the hope of prompting some indignant phone rage from an uppity fan."

Wind up merchant who contradicts himself just to get a reaction. The problem is you can't believe anything he says now is actually his opinion. Been taking up airspace for too long.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Backlash_(sociology" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;)
A "backlash" is an adverse reaction to something which has gained popularity, prominence, or influence.
Dyche or Star Wars films. Once they become big and popular enough the inevitable backlash begins.
Move on, ignore, don't rise to it and listen to a better radio station.

Re: Talksport slagging off Dyche
you know how fans of wrestling are really strange and thick, followers of a blatantly fixed event, but only these cretins don't get that, well, that's the same species as callers to talk sport.
Re: Talksport slagging off Dyche
He better be careful if he starts slagging off Dyche as he might get the manager of Fleetwood giving him some earache.

Re: Talksport slagging off Dyche
Durham has often spouted this crap about us being dull and boring. But did we not take the lead at the home of the Champions in August, at Anfield in August and also at Old Trafford in December - not quite sure how many other dull teams did that.

One has to be completely desperate to listen to TalkSpork(sic) in the first place, and thick as mince if you were to take any of the drivel spouted on there to heart. It’s Radio made by morons, and listened to by the inveterately slow witted.

Jacob and Hawksby are still a pleasant enough listen but that's about it. Perhaps it's because they don't try to gain notoriety?
I used to like Mike Dickin back in the day. I didn't know until recently Dickin was killed in a car crash on his way home from his, then, evening program. His final program was about The Afterlife And The Existence Of God

I enjoy listening now and again. I find Gough more annoying to be honest. Just take Durham's opinions with a pinch of salt and don't worry about it.
