They lost all dignity and joined the trash heap in the 80s.
Don't worry about it!

Won't be long until they are competing with the Kardashians for airtime on TV.

If I hear any more about whether her dad is going to turn up to give her away or not.... then really something quite bad indeed, might possibly happen..

I’m sorry to disappoint but apparently he’s not going to make it after all as he has just had open heart surgery and needs a few days to recuperate. Her sister is also incapacitated and in hospital after breaking a leg in a car accident.
Watch this space for further news.

The tabloids will be disappointed. There was s rumour going around that her sister has a bottom. It would have been the headline story of the day.

I wish them all the best but lost all respect when they arranged their wedding for the same day as the FA Cup final. How the Met will cope with the demands on their manpower for two massive events I do not know but I bet the individual who plans such things must have had a quiet swear to themselves when it was announced.

Could care less about this. I ll be avoiding any coverage of it. £100,000 for a dress ? Why not spend £50,000 and donate £50,000 to starving kids. Nobody would know the difference and the people are helped. Can't see any point to the Royal Family in this day and age.

It's the Markle's who should be having second thoughts, marrying into a bunch of sponging, inbred, racist halfwits. But she's 36 now, one failed marriage behind her so I guess you've got to take what you can.

And at 36 her body clock is ticking. Not too many more years to have a few royal kids.

There's enough of their kind sucking off of the taxpayer's nipple already. Make them the Prince and Princess of the Falklands and see if they enjoy it.

Besides, the Windsors are, generally speaking, a dumb lot. I doubt that they have second thoughts about anything, except at the dinner table.

Let's hope so. We don't want to hear the pitter-patter of tiny freeloaders.

I hadn't given this affair much attention at all until these farcical events started to unfold but now have an uneasy feeling about it. This hasn't been thought through properly. There are just so many possible ramifications. The fact that she's ALREADY been divorced doesn't bode well. A second divorce could trigger the biggest alimony case in the history of mankind. The bridegroom is such an unbelievable saphead that you can quite easily see him being hung out to dry. Dragged through the American courts. The pitter patter of tiny feet could also present problems. I'm amazed that this is being allowed.

A bit of Royal news keeps the dim-witted window lickers, hard of thinking, forelock-tuggers, flat cap tories and simple minded flag waggers happy for a week or two.
They pay their license fees too ya know.

Leaving aside the question of Diana's friendly relationships, Harry and William have by my reckoning 127 great-great-great-great-great-grandparents instead of 128, because Prince Philip and the Queen were third cousins - both great-great-great-grandchildren of Queen Victoria. But Diana Spencer wasn't related to the royal family, Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon wasn't related to the royal family, Mary of Teck wasn't related until you go back to the early 1700's and George III, and Princess Alexandra wasn't related to the royal family.
Don't get into the sloppy habit of despising the royal family because they're racist and because they're German. If you do, the half-wit will be found closer to home.
How many great-great-great-great-great-grandparents do you have?

Boy, we are surrounded by some many gullible people. The belief that Megan's Dad was going to attend had it not been for health reasons is on a par we believing the tooth fairy.
I suspect he was never going to come.

I think that Elizabeth and Philip's shared bloodlines go through Queen Alexandra, who was Danish. The Danish royal bloodlines are everywhere in the monarchies of Europe. In fact, when the Norwegians wanted to start a royal house in 1905, they "borrowed" the Danish king's younger brother, Haakon.

True. I think any country with a not-quite-first-class prince who didn't qualify to marry a first-class princess, picked a Dane as a consolation prize. King William (Victoria's uncle) married a Danish princess Adelaide - having ditched Dorothy Jordan, actress, financial support, and mother of his ten illegitimate children to do so. (I think the ten illegitimate children were the reason he was a not-quite-first-class prince.)
Adelaide had no descendants so wasn't part of the allegedly incestuous relationships.

Marrying a Danish prince or princess was always a safe bet, unlikely to offend anyone.
