living vicariously

Post by Pstotto » Mon May 21, 2018 6:16 pm

Everyone does it to an extent as it satisfies a certain curiosity, for example Neil Armstrong went to the Moon and we all got to hear about what it was like.

One cannot nor would want to live out quite a lot of other folk's lives, but why would Roman Abramovitch want to buy Chelsea and start supporting them? What's his local team and why didn't he want success for them instead?

You might as well ask why all the fans that go on the Turf who don't live in Burnley or its environs support us.

There's no simple answer to this, ones upbringing or formative years development is crucial, as are parental choices.

He bought Chelsea for a sheild.

Killing a rich businessman attracts a few local headlines.

Killing the owner of Chelsea makes every front page in the world.
