I can't see him playing for RM again after that interview. fabulous cameo, a middle finger to the notion of not starting, and an interview more or less about him being somewhere else rather than focus on his two goals that won the game.

I'd much rather have 11 players who think they deserve to be playing than 11 who don't. Great player and although it will never happen I'd love him playing for Burnley.

A player of his talent should not be hanging around for the odd game here and there.

He should be at a club where he’s playing week in week out.

But for him being paid hundreds of thousands per week I may have had some sympathy for his "plight"

Harry Arter has reportedly said he's willing to move away from Bournemouth in order to feature more regularly for Republic of Ireland.. Is there a better place than Burnley for that to happen ?

This situation has to be personal between Zidane and Bale. He’s been in incredible form and ZZ goes out of his way to embarrass him every chance he gets.
He won’t be there next year if ZZ is.

That's my take on it.
If he wasn't playing well you could understand it, but not only does he play well, he delivers time and again. It has to be a personality clash between him and Zidane.

Not playing bale is almost as stupid as being the player manager of a club that may or may not be called Burnley, and insisting on playing yourself, when there’s a better player sat on the bench who may or not be called Glen.

Bale deserves to play. For ANY side you care to mention. Him having the swingers to say that publicly doesn’t make him an arsehole.

I suppose that if he was going to make a statement, 10 pm ish UK time last night was probably the best time to do it.

Think he made his statement with his goals,the first was genuinely world-class and at such an important moment for his team,ironically the English team that he would fit into is probably Liverpool,their counter-attacking style would be ideal for him.

He can't have everything. He chose to go to one of very few clubs where they can leave him out and still win the European Cup. He could have chosen to go somewhere where he would play every week, or he could choose to go to the biggest club for the biggest wage and the most competition for places. He chose, and maybe chose wrong.

Four champions league medals say he chose right. Just another pampered egotistical footballer.Zinedine zidane got things spot on IMO.

He's worth a start at £30k a week, if we upgrade a little.

Needs to work on his right foot and hairstyle.

Not quite up to our standards I'm afraid.
