No easy way out of the Championship next season either with Stoke and West Brom likely to be strong. Expect Pulis to improve 'Boro with a pre-season behind him too.

Villa did OK in a relatively weak division. Wolves and Fulham were stand out and Warnock did an amazing job at Cardiff.

Too many ordinary players on PL wages. Owners might be thinking about a managerial change.

Well, their fans don't act like they're following a 'big club' with potential. I was at Wembley on Saturday and they behaved like a silent bunch of sullen introverts facing relegation rather than their biggest, most important single match in years. It was almost as though the victory and promotion to the Premier League was their given right and when Fulham had the temerity not to rollover, they retracted into their shells. It was great to see Fulham show them how to play like a big club and support a team like a big club.

They've been poorly run for years.
Bad/poor managerial appointments and rubbish signings.
Over paid average players etc.

Look around at other clubs and you see the same mistakes being made time and again.

Remember when the fans were chuffed to see Deadly Doug leave?
They barely moved upwards after he left and now they're in the championship amusingly.
