Just had a nosy on BRFCS and the thread on season ticket sales:

According to the OP 23% were boycotting at the start of last season!

Absolutely. You’ll not hear a peep out of them and then it will be all Venky’s fault when they’re in a relegation fight.

Big survey that one!

About the same as the queue for a pint at half-time in the CFS.

For those who use Twitter, there is a highly amusing piece from Swiss Ramble, who really seems to know his/her stuff. It details how much money they are losing and how reliant they are on repeated cash injections from Venkys to keep them afloat.

Until Venkys pull the plug, but I can't see that happening now. If Venkys lose interest, they'll give the club away for free. Blackburn Rovers always land on their feet. I suspect now that Venkys have got rid of the likes of Jerome Anderson, they will in invest in the club properly. I fear they might become an established Premier League outfit again soon. These guys are minted.

It would be just about right that, after uncle jack cosseted and bankrolled them for years and after they whinged about the venkys (who are essentially doing the same thing) they end up back in the Prem, all on the free ride of someone else's money.

It wouldn't take long for the smug b'turds to pop up on here again after several years absence.

Soooooo annoying aren't they ?

They are on the verge of a transfer embargo now as it is.

First class analysis by Swiss Ramble on how NOT to run a football club.

147% ratio of Wages to Income, the worst in the Championship to June'17. Shocking numbers.

Totally reliant now on Venky's in terms of their short to mid-term future.

I've been listening to Burnley's desperate doom scenarios for years.. We are still here and still competing.

Hilarious is it not. Don't hear a peep out of 'em for years and a 3rd division promotion happens and hey presto, they start to appear.

Seriously, you've been listening to our doom scenarios?, what about your own fans. Many b'turds were predicting it was the end for you lot not that long ago, so don't come on here and make out it was us saying that cos clearly it wasn't. We were just enjoying the circus.

As has been pointed out many times, the Walker trust wrote off £100 million debt before the chicken farmers turned up, who then ran up another debt bigger than that of Venezuela, so lets not pretend its all the nasty venkys fault, who by the way, continue to pump huge amounts of cash in. If they stop and walk away like many of the shadsworth chin dribblers were demanding until recently, you'd have been utterly bol-loxed.

You are. You're not only competing with Shrewsbury, you're beating them. And you are still a full division (well, almost) ahead of Accrington Stanley.
