Why are England, who traditionally play in white, playing in red against a Costa Rica side playing in white, when they traditionally play in red? :?

Probably to keep the idea of us playing away up. It's probably psychological.

Tonight is proof that England games (especially friendlies) should never be at Wembley. Great atmosphere at Leeds and stadium full

To keep people happy, and warrant them bringing out 2 shirts every 12 months.

On a side note, can see it kicking off tonight, fans already taunting each other

Really! I know, it's ridiculous, but they're not gonna sell the red shirts if they never use them.

Looked a good goal, but don't think that would have gone in against
a decent keeper tbh.

Certainly by far the better side, Costa Rica understandably looking very leggy, and poor.

Rashford is playing well. Henderson finding lots of space to receive a pass and playing the ball around well. Vardy looks to be heavily marked.

The number of one-footed players is astonishing, on both sides.

Steptoe off, Wellbeck on.

What we want now is for Costa Rica to float in a dozen crosses, so he can catch them all.
