You can mock me all you want for wanting him removed, but i'm the one not in denial of his blatant corruption. Fair play for getting them together in the first place, whether anything positive comes of it is yet to be seen but it's a step in the right direction. Issue with Trump is he's one tweet away from undoing any good work because he's a man child who can't seemingly behave like an adult for any long period of time.

So far he's given away that he knows full well were all North Korea nuclear facilities are because "our satellites are so good" and he's said that North Korea has effectively agreed to de-nuclearisation.

Good news they have met, but he's sounded far too triumphant far too early to be honest.

But again, good news that they have met.

Trump is a deeply unpleasant individual but his style has brought a new dynamic to the World order. On certain issues what he says has more than a grain of truth, because one doesn’t like the man does not mean that from time to time his style might not be effective.
If only he had the same capacity in the Middle East.

Ruffling feathers and shaking up complacent thinking is no bad thing, at present he is really the only player on the block. Too many other politicians hiding behind western values and not putting forward equally forceable cases.

He's the only person in the West who can be forceful though, because he's got the weaponry, the infrastructure and much more importantly, is enough of a wild card so that no one knows if he'll actually cause a global nuclear war.

I'd hate to call his bluff, cos he strikes me as the type who'd press the button to avoid having to be seen to have backed down.

For some reason, I have an image in my (some might say empty) head of them thrashing this deal out in the kiddies ball pit of the local wacky warehouse before retiring to have one of those 'all you can eat' ice cream type desserts compete with sprinkles, marshmallows and a flake on top with Trump whinging to his bodyguards 'it's not fair' cos Kim's got more than him.

He is potentially dangerous but his bellicose ramblings belie a soft underbelly.

Over the last couple of years, with Brexit and Trump, the lefties are unbearable and seem to constantly want to cause conflict with an argument about how they are right. You rarely hear the righties actually arguing back, only ever getting shot down for having a different opinion.

Aside from looking like a bit of a moron, and sounding like he's about to upset someone (which apparently will cause a war - imagine that, why did WW3 start? Because Donald Trump tweeted that such-and-such was a fool), I'm yet to see what Trump has done wrong other than being Trump.

If his opponents think he is capable of going the whole hog,it may make them think twice,which in diplomacy can have benefits,it is a risky strategy though.Purely the fact that the USA and North Korea are communicating is promising in itself,of course actions speak louder than words,South Korea also has an important role in not destabilising the region,and the big player China is very quiet ATM.

Follow up meetings are in the works so more details should emerge over the coming months,it is noticeable that sanctions still remain in place for the moment,an end to the Korean conflict is now possible when just months ago a military escalation seemed inevitable,for the sake of both nations let's hope the end comes sooner or later.

So basically, socialised healthcare and changing a 300 year old amendment is more important to you than the nuclear disarming and potential modernising of a hostile country that has one of the worst human rights records on earth.
