Re: Isco
Kevin De Bruyne is the best in the world, in my opinion.
Honerable mention for Paolo Dybala though.

Re: Isco
Not sure, both play similar role for club, Isco takes Bale's spot wide.Geoff wrote:Surely Messi is more of a forward than attacking midfielder?
Anyway I'd have Eriksen and de Bruyne over him
Re: Isco
Ronaldo aside I thought Iniesta was the best player on the pitch, Isco and Silva also incredible, Spanish have some side, they're just developed differently to English players, no long ball, it's almost like they're playing 5 a side from a very young age.
Re: Isco
Nothing wrong with long ball as long as its mixed up with an the ground stuff. Germany have been doing it for ever, and their record ain't too shoddy.KRBFC wrote:Ronaldo aside I thought Iniesta was the best player on the pitch, Isco and Silva also incredible, Spanish have some side, they're just developed differently to English players, no long ball, it's almost like they're playing 5 a side from a very young age.

I thought Iniesta was labouring, Silva watched the game pass him by and Isco had a good 25 minutes tops.KRBFC wrote:Ronaldo aside I thought Iniesta was the best player on the pitch, Isco and Silva also incredible, Spanish have some side, they're just developed differently to English players, no long ball, it's almost like they're playing 5 a side from a very young age.

Re: Isco
Interesting concept is that. However, rules are rules but if I could take out Messi from the team, but replace him with those two, then I’d probably do it. But even though FIFA are stupid, i think they will insist on the numbers remaining as they are, so based on that, I’m pretty sure I’d have Messi in my side over any one of those two.Geoff wrote:Surely Messi is more of a forward than attacking midfielder?

Don’t get me wrong, they are great players, and Eriksen is probably the most underrated in his position in Europe, but Messi is THE man.

Re: Isco
Isco was borne and raised in the Arroyo de Miel, which is he Spanish part of Benalmadena. He went on to play for Malaga before moving on to Real. He has recently being buying up a lot of property in the area, obviously all part of his investment plans for the future.
Re: Isco
Messi is the man but is he a forward or an attacking midfield player? I definitely don't consider him a striker, he's more a wide player with a free role kind of like Isco at Madrid, Eriksen/Alli at Spurs, Sigurdsson at Everton, Iniesta throughout his career has played from wide. Does that mean an attacking midfielder can be a winger or a wide midfielder? if so, Messi is undeniably the best ''attacking midfielder'' on the planet, with Ronaldo the best forward.bobinho wrote:Interesting concept is that. I questioned whether Messi was an attacking midfielder and then provided two attacking midfielders that I think are better than Isco.
Keep up, boy.

Re: Isco
Brilliant, but Spain do have a weakness at the back.
If you can get the ball of them and break quickly, they are far too open and slow to get back.
Course, they are absolutely magnificent at everything else but still!
