From The Independent: "JB Gudmundsson 7/10
Played a big part for Burnley this year in helping them qualify for Europa League and was equally instrumental today before his injury on the hour mark."

Best thing for us is that he gets sent home and recovers.

I don't agree.

Playing a fantastic world cup will only increase his confidence and his & our exposure.

At least he had an awful World Cup, won't be moving anywhere else.

He didn’t set the world alight but I don’t think that was likely in the system he played. When I watched them, he never drifted inside and he wasn’t in the danger areas. I assume it was the Icelandic system which limited JBG more than him just not deciding to do what he does best. But, yes, a good world could’ve seen him on his way so it is definitely a good thing from our point of view
