A family of G.S. Woodpeckers, the first of the young fledged, but the other was not for moving.

Female bird flew off with the young one that has Fledged just after these picture were taken.

24 hours later, that youngster had still not left the nest

Ah that would be telling Buxton.... the intrigue would all be gone from the photo.
