Matched Betting

Mods - I hope this doesn't break any advertising rules but feel free to delete if so.

I sometimes post about this topic and I'm just putting word out again before the new football season gets going.

This is a process I started three years ago. If you've never heard of it before, I guess the simplest way to explain it is the utilisation of bookie websites and betting exchanges to both bet for and against a sporting outcome to win a free bet (say if a game finishes 0-0). You'll then repeat the process with the free bet, turning it into around 80% profit.

Now, pretty much every single bookie offers a free bet upon sign-up from £5 to £200 (Bet365) which guarantees profit from £4 to £160. With hundreds of bookies out there these days, you can literally make thousands just from sign up offers alone. Since I began in May 2015, I've made over £10,000 from sign-ups and 'reload' offers (the 2nd place horse offers, Champions League offers etc.) - there are hundreds of these offers too.

Obviously the fewer online bookie accounts you have, the more you can make from this process. I was lucky in that I'd only ever placed bets on the Grand National at a physical bookies.

Betting exchanges (Betfair, Smarkets etc.) have been around for years so this process has been around for a long time. However, it was always tricky to find the free bets and to work out exactly how much to 'lay' at the exchange to maximise profit. Well, there is now a brilliant website which does all this for you. I pay £150 a year subscription and easily make that back. The website finds the bets for you, lists all the bookie sign-up offers and even talks you through, step-by-step, how to place each bet.

Cards on the table, I have an affiliate link for this website - http://www.matchedbettingmachine.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - which means I'm paid a commission for each sign up.

However, as I'm not posting this purely to make money, feel free to Google the website Profit Accumulator and sign up directly. It won't cost you any more or less that way though, so, if you are going to give it a go, I'd appreciate you using my link! As I say, there is a cost but the website offers a free trial which will make you £45 - more than enough to cover your first monthly payment. By the time you're making your second, you should have a few hundred in the bank.

To repeat myself, I'm not posting this just to earn commissions - when I started out, as good as the website is, it was handy to ask questions of somebody who has done this before, so I'll be checking this thread a lot to answer any questions. If you quote this opening post, I'll see the notification when I log in and answer you straight away.

Once the football season starts, bookies give free bets out like Smarties so this is a good time to get signed up to as many bookies as possible. I hope I can help a few people make a few thousand by this time next year :-)

I started using PA around 6 weeks ago (about 500 up so far), but will have a look at this link when I get time in next month or so and see if it's worth swapping over ;)

Making money from bookies always sounds an interesting subject if rather time consuming, so happy to look in on your progress Fretters. 8-)

I don't think you can swap over once you've started (it goes off your IP address) but thanks anyway :-)

It really depends how much time you want to put into it/ Like anything, the harder you work at it, the faster you'll see results. You can make decent progress in around an hour a week, though. It takes around 10 minutes to register with a new bookie.

My link is to PA. I just created my own domain name for my affiliate link because it was just a load of jibberish that I could never remember!

The good times for matched betting are long gone.
Too many people got involved and the bookied got wise.
Not the profit to be had as there used to be.

You're correct, to an extent, with the re-load offers. They're as good as they always were with some bookies though. For instance, Bet365 still have their daily £50 free bet if you pick a winner over 4.0.

The sign-up offers are still there too and, even if you just make a grand or so from those, it's worth a few hours work.

Definitely worth doing the signup offers at the very least. I had to stop marched betting after the euros as it was getti g harder to make the time invested worth it, but in 12 months I made over £10,000. It paid for once in a lifetime holidays to the USA and Europe, plus a deposit on a car.

If you haven't signed up to all the bookies already then you should be all over this.

I got through all the sign up offers then really struggled to have a routine and felt a bit lost.

After 4 or 5 successes with Bet365 the gubbing stick usually appears.
Also multi accounting is now almost impossible to get away with.
All good things come to an end.
Was making £1,000 a month back in the autumn of 2015.
Sites like yours and others (matchedbettingblog) made it too popular giving step by step instructions how to do it.
Prior to that the bookies knew it was happenong but only on a small scale so turned a blind eye to it whilsy the offers sucked in new mug betters

Many of the welocme offers now have rollover requirements which makes it risky as your account could be restricted before completing thr rollover requirements

Same here, working your way through the sign up offers is like taking candy from a baby but after that it gets a bit hazy.

Hazy + complicated + online momentary transactions + bookmakers + gambling + one wrong press of a button = fnck that.

Agree the days of matched betting on a long term basis are long gone , and nowadays it’s a short term gain { if you know what your doing ) , as its not long before your “gubbed” ( stake or account limited, from promotions etc )

And there is no need to subscribe to any website, just use an arb calculator etc.

I just trade on Betfair using Betangel, only pre race, and never go inplay ( learnt that lesson the hard way many years ago !!).Long term its a much better way of making regular profits from Back/ Lay then matched betting , and a lot less hassle ( opening multiple accounts , checking Tc’s etc )

So it’s a big no from me .. and certainly don’t pay a subscription if you do decide to try it
