next time Burnley are on telly losing 5 - 1 don't let me know!
I just watched 30mins and TV went off for a minute and I missed our goal...who scored it?
Great to see Lochead + Talbot who later played for City!

lol I didn't know the score! Alex Elder scored for us and it was the best goal of the game beating Gordon Banks in goal. I thought the young lad Murray played well on his debut and I always enjoy watching my all time favourite claret, Brian Miller, win lose or draw. Hope it hasn't ruined your day!

Elders goal was a 20/30 yard cracker if I’m not mistaken.

I recall this game being televised on BBC MOTD and Leicester Manager Matt Gillies being interviewed. Wish I could have seen this today. As I recall, the Clarets got their revenge with a 5-2 victory in the return fixture. (John Talbut went on to play for West Brom, not City btw)

Yes SWC it was a cracker hitting the right stanchion so hard the ball bounced out again so quickly looking at first that it had possibly hit the post. I haven't looked at the fixture list but Burnley looked tired compared to Leicester who deserved the win

My first ever visit to Filbert Street - hammered 5-1 with Arthur Bellamy playing as a sweeper and then a long delay on the way home when the police held our coach on the motorway services because someone had apparently stolen an ash tray. I'm sure it was played on 5th November too.
