I've just set up the Up the Clarets League in Fantasy Premier League. Announcement post at the top of the board for joining.

I'm going to do better this season - I say that every year, and I can't get much worse.

Right up the start of the season, and we usually allow people in during week 2 but usually everyone is in ahead of the first games.

Good intentions are fine cutsy123, that's my plan every year. It usually fades away before we move into September.

One of the reasons we introduced the manager of the month awards was so people like me had something to play for come September onwards. Still not won one though.

I am only entering if jdrobbo stops becoming so competitive.

I got emails, texts, death threats when I was above him the first time that I entered so I stopped changing my team.

We need Spooks from MI6 to regulate this competition and take out the bullies.

He is even worse now the school hols have begun.

A surprisingly low uptake on this so far. Over 100 entered last season and we’ll be lucky to hit fifty at this rate! It’s a great do with decent cash prizes when several enter!

I keep meaning to get round to it which I will, Think lots could be waiting until the window closes you’re almost guaranteed a late surge, yes it’s a good do agree on that.
