Weird reason to cancel a friendly, surely you just go with a mix of your 1st team squad and young players, what will they do in the season if they end up with injuries?
Small time team though so no surprises they can't fulfil their fixtures.....

We have a fair few friendlies lined up ahead of the games with you guys including WBA on the Friday night prior to game.
Think this is merely a precautionary move on our behalf although two of the summer signings have genuinely got injuries.
Forrester didn't feature at all yesterday and Gleeson was taken off with an injury.
Think the more serious of the two is Glesson who will be assessed today

Aye very nervous
Just thought it was odd to cancel a friendly for injuries when you have your main squad and youth teams to select from.

Our youth team is away in Spain for pre-season which limits the available players.

Even with this cancellation we have 3 more friendlies before the first leg (although one is on the 23rd so I can't see the first team being involved much). We have already played 3 friendlies too.
