Listen, Pope got a lucky break last season, came in, started well, grew in confidence and went on to have a decent run of form which culminated in England honours but he isn't Billy the Fish just yet.

Surely we'll play Mawson like we did in that friendly a couple of years back. He's younger than Mercer and with Mercer training him, he could finally break through into the first team.

Ward was on loan for the first half of the season three years ago at us.
Really looked the part and we were gutted when Liverpool recalled him half way through the season, but thought fair play to the lad he is going to get his chance now at Liverpool, but for some reason it's never really happened for him. Performances at Aberdeen (something like 13 clean sheets in 20 odd games) won him his first cap for Wales. Still reasonably young for a goalkeeper, but £12m....Mmm not sure on that
