From the Daily Mirror
Carl Jenkinson and Joel Campbell have been told they have no future at Arsenal after the three were among five players left out of Unai Emery's squad to fly out to Singapore.
Not sure how two players can be described as three
Wonder who the others were ?
Not bad players and fit the positions we are hopefully looking to fill

Joel Campbell would be a good impact sub to inject some pace out wide if we needed it but wages may be an issue

Jenkinson is hopeless. Wenger had a thing for buying naff English defenders; Chambers and Holding being other examples. Campbell? Meh.

I think foden would be a good loan signing
Ampadu from Chelsea another one (his hair style would split opinions)

I think his name would split opinions, if I could not remember it in conversation I would probably call him umpalumpa

Definitely a thumbs up if we can get Phil Foden on loan. But I can't see it.
A club like Bournemouth or Wolves will just throw money at him in wages.

Ok, I'll go all in on this one.
Phil Foden would be great for us, and we'd be great for him.
He'd learn so much about the other sides of the game from us, and we'd get a cracking player.
Only thing is could we give him enough games?

We could give him enough games, I don't think that would be the issue. Like I said, there are a few clubs who just throw money at anything and they'll pay more on wages than we'd be (rightly) willing to pay.

I think Foden is a great talent, but we have a very poor record where Loanees are concerned. Mee and Tripps came with an option to buy, which was slightly different .
Only Cahill springs to mind of someone who played regular, and with success, and we have had some great players on loan who just didn't come off.

I'm not sure how all this follows - because some loans haven't worked out, we don't bother with any more?

Cork was a good loanee, Vokes, Kightly, Keane also come to mind. So not all bad if you include Tripps and Mee above.

Gee I just hate it when people add facts and reason to a good drama.

Dyche doesn’t tend to sign many players under the age of 25. When he has, they haven’t been regulars. Michael Keane is probably the single exception.
Our targets/signing tend to be 25+ with a lot of first team games behind them.
It’ll be surprising if that changes.
