We do seem to have an extraordinary number of keepers on the books Tony so no surprise to see them going out. Slightly off topic but Aiden O'Neill was named to start at Curzon but didnt...is he injured ?

According to Tony Loughlan he (Aiden O'Neill) felt something in his thigh and so they didn't take any risk. He wasn't involved last night either.

In terms of goalkeepers, I was surprised when I learned we were signing George McMahon, not because he isn't good enough, in fact he's really impressed me, but just in terms of numbers. If all three - Mitchell, Stone & Bruce - go out on loan then he'll slot in as the under-23 first choice keeper.

Based on their manager's comments, it sounds like he's going up as a bench warmer "competition". Seems a bit of a waste of time. Surely playing league football is what he needs now at his age.
