Much cooler down on the South Coast today, we had a small rain shower yesterday and a thunder storm over night... I've actually had to put a Tshirt on today. Hopefully makes its way up to you.

Dry your eyes. It didn't even get as cold as 32C last night (desert S of Dubai). I laugh at your 'heatwave'. Fortunately not humid today, but still 49C in the shade when I went for lunch.

For me it is TOO hot

Yesterday evening in my apartment after trimming my beard I wiped any beard trimmings off of my chest and arms and there was lots of sweat on my arms making it difficult to wipe away any hair

Recently tar sprayed roads are coming apart round Burnley.
Just watched an Eddie Stobart wagon badly churn the surface whilst manoeuvring into a side street to make a delivery.

It's still hot enough to make ball gravy where I'm sitting.

I used to think it would be great to live abroad where the sun shone most days, but after two months of this in lancs, I am sick of it. we need cold and rain here, its normal.

Woke up this morning thankful we had a rain shower overnight bringing it down to 85f at 7 am. Last few days have been 100-105f by 2pm.
