These articles should be locked when duplicating ongoing threads, they make the messageboard messy

So Dean wasnt happy at Burnley........yet all the happy clappers tell us what an amazing atmosphere it is around the club.

Would be nice to hear a balanced view....yes I admit I get too involved in all the rumour nonsense but its something to fill the day whilst I am not doing anything at work. I do believe though that we make things harder than they should be

Couldn't agree more, but I've reached the point now where I am not going to put up with some of the comments I'm getting on threads that link to articles.

At present every thread is descending into tit for tat arguments between happy clappers and realists (my view). We should really for the next 10 days just have one thread where we just go back and forth arguing which of these is the truest supporter of the club

For things such as this these articles act as a reference point as such. If you wanted the info god help you trawling through hundreds of threads trying to find the info you needed. Whereas this puts them all in one handy location. Not rocket science

Seems a very odd thing for him to say though....that he was coming in to work without a smile on his face. I mean who was to say that we didnt have a midfield crisis and we wouldnt have needed him again. Surely whether the player is staying or going they should be included and made to feel welcome. He obviously wasnt

I’ve obviously touched a nerve with this comment or I have missed a previous similar comment. Absolutely no offence ment, I just feel that a good thread can sometimes be diluted when an article thread is started on the same topic. This is just the same as any duplicate thread and not specific to article threads

The answer is that a thread will be started to confirm an article is on the main site. What I won't continue to put up with is the sort of snide response that followed it.

I don't see any problem with his comments. He wouldn't be human if he didn't feel anything about not having his contract renewed. I wish him all the best. I think he's a great acquisition for Fleetwood.

Dean Marney was on the fade before he got injured and must have known his days were numbered at Burnley.
He was a decent signing in our previous days in the lower leagues and I wish him well for the future.
Comment made re Burnley and the way he felt unloved smack of journos stirring up a non story.He was always given a great reception by the fans
