Anyone flying home via Germany check your emails. Our flights have been cancelled
don't know what to do! Supposed to be flying out tonight

We’re flying back via Düsseldorf on Friday. No notification of that being cancelled. We are already checked in and about to fly though so pot committed anyway

Unless your boss reads this and knows your username, he won't know when you found out the flight was cancelled.

All sorted.. Land in Leeds at 4pm friday.. a fiver more than orginial flight so could have been a lot worse.. and relax again!! Can't wait to set off now, need a beer or two at the airport, I'm a nervous flyer as it is!

Just a heads up, it was a Ryan air flight that was cancelled due to pilot strikes.

Ryanair would just dump you at the side of the road. I'm flying Lufthansa who will at least try and get you home if they strike, breakdown or are late. BUT...it's on the way back, so no worries!

Couple of lads I know are stuck in Germany as we speak. Original flight has been cancelled.
Getting a flight out at 2am to Turkey now, what a ball ache having to wait around.

Was actually thinking over heading over to instanbul for this to see the standard of opposition we'd have faced if we got through. Will be interesting to see if this lot give as tough a game as the dandies did.
