Wood, Brady and Defour not in squad

Wood has apparently got an infection following a bite but no info on Defour and Brady but imagine it's to do with their rehab.

Fair enough, was mentioned on the official Twitter feed.ClaretTony wrote:Defour not even registered

We might be okay for tomorrow but it depends on how long these players are going to be injured formybloodisclaret wrote:6 subs should be okay? Looks like it Vokes wont be going anywhere then. Thankfully
Does that mean that he won’t be able to take part in any of the games or is the registration just for the preliminaries?ClaretTony wrote:Defour not even registered

Sorry for being so uninformed, but can we name a different squad for every game?ClaretTony wrote:For tomorrow
Exactly as I intimated on another thread..A very 'thin' squad with a number of those sidelined having no date set for a possible return. The 'injury' to Heaton just continues to ring alarm bells but a few others also have not played competitively for a very long time.Reecey1987 wrote:We might be okay for tomorrow but it depends on how long these players are going to be injured for
1-1 would be a good result. They have some good players, but so do we tbf.summitclaret wrote:Hopefully we will have enough to get a draw tomorrow.
Even the manager keeps mentioning we have a very thin squadSilkyskills1 wrote:Exactly as I intimated on another thread..A very 'thin' squad with a number of those sidelined having no date set for a possible return. No he hasn't.RocketLawnChair wrote:Defour has tweeted he will be fit soon.
The signing of Hart has me worried about the seriousness of Heaton’s injury, too. I’d be thinking he’d be chomping at the bit to get in there were he close.Silkyskills1 wrote:The 'injury' to Heaton just continues to ring alarm bells but a few others also have not played competitively for a very long time.
He wouldn't be registered in time.Murger wrote:Need to get Jay Rod in sharpish then.
Yes he has.ClaretAndJew wrote:No he hasn't.
That sounds absolutely awful, I thought we were top heavy but we are still lacking quality, would like to see Bolasie in asap, 2 wide players isn't enough.Iloveyoubrady wrote:Walters out wide, Barnes wide with Hendrick in the hole, Hendrick wide - still some options - albeit bad ones but we have a freak amount of injuries and I can only see that situation improving. Still think we’ll get a couple of loan deals done for cover.
When? I can't see anything lately.RocketLawnChair wrote:Yes he has.
We have Lennon, Brady and JBG for the wings but could do with one more for the squad - maybe someone young for the future as well a couple of loans maybe?KRBFC wrote:That sounds absolutely awful, I thought we were top heavy but we are still lacking quality, would like to see Bolasie in asap, 2 wide players isn't enough.
He was asked by @dannyp21 when will you be back fit? He replied Soon.ClaretAndJew wrote:When? I can't see anything lately.
Thought you meant he tweeted directly. Just seen it cheers. Sorry if I sounded ArseyRocketLawnChair wrote:He was asked by @dannyp21 when will you be back fit? He replied Soon.
I asked Danny Ings the same question in the 2013-14 season when he was living close by. He offered the same answer and after about a month was true to his word.RocketLawnChair wrote:He was asked by @dannyp21 when will you be back fit? He replied Soon.
FFS I haven’t conducted a fitness test I was just passing on his answer to a question he was asked about his fitness. He might never walk again for all I ******* know.Silkyskills1 wrote:I asked Danny Ings the same question in the 2013-14 season when he was living close by. Brady's been injured for ages and isn't fit enough to even make the squad, Lennon has been so inconsistent, even JBG isn't exactly dependable with injuries although hopefully it's all behind him.Iloveyoubrady wrote:We have Lennon, Brady and JBG for the wings but could do with one more for the squad - maybe someone young for the future as well a couple of loans maybe?
You clearly don't know what can happen with some of these insect bites and excessive exercise.joey13 wrote:So Wood has got an infected mosquito bite rendering him unfit to travel , can understand why he opted for football as opposed to rugby , what a soft arse
Not sure Lennon has been inconsistent, by any fault of his own. He has been very effective and worked very hard when playing in his position. The only time he has been ineffective has been when Dyche has decided to play him on the left, when he is admittedly bloody awful.KRBFC wrote:Brady's been injured for ages and isn't fit enough to even make the squad, Lennon has been so inconsistent, even JBG isn't exactly dependable with injuries although hopefully it's all behind him.
Well, the countdown for games missed begins on Sunday.mealdeal wrote:I love Defour, but he’s a waste of space. He will be fit for a few games and pick up a knock. If he plays 20 games in all competitions this season, I’ll be amazed.
I'm not sure Lennon has been all that effective at all, in any game on any wing apart from the odd occasion. I think we're a better side with JBG on the right hand side because he's better than Lennon there.PrecisionClaret wrote:Not sure Lennon has been inconsistent, by any fault of his own. It boils my **** when we play wide men on the opposite side; the only exception to the rule has been JBG, who does it well, although I prefer him on the left.
Don't think they have enough fans to be pulling stunts like that (hopefully!)TurfyMoore wrote:Hopefully the Turkey trots wont hit the squad and the no car horns blaring outside the hotel, or fire alarms at 3 am

So that’s where he’s been bitten.joey13 wrote:So Wood has got an infected mosquito bite rendering him unfit to travel , can understand why he opted for football as opposed to rugby , what a soft arse
There was a flea in his ear after his terrible header set up Abderdeen’s equaliser last week. Maybe it was that.Bertiebeehead wrote:So that’s where he’s been bitten.
