Ticket ploy?
Bet you won't bother.Devils_Advocate wrote:Bet most of our first team will be gutted as they'll now have to actually go down to the ground if they want to watch the reserves play on Thursday
Then you would lose your betjtv wrote:Bet you won't bother.
I'll be following the match day thread as per usual. Difficult to get to games living a fair distance from the Turf. As ever I shall, though, be fully behind Madge (ooo-er) and look forward to the usual reprobates chipping in. I appreciate the reminder, though. The Enclosure wrote:Goddy there is always a thread on match days on here...Madge would have it no other way...besides Spadesclaret would raise the roof if there wasn't regular updates .lol
As will youDevils_Advocate wrote:Then you would lose your bet

Well, I think the problems with that trial is why they're not streaming it.ZizkovClaret wrote:Wonderful for all us based overseasTo think we were mocking how Aberdeen chose to stream their home leg.
What exactly was the point of trialing showing live games via Clarets Player against Preston exactly?
Not sure why this is could be considered a joke by the club. We've worked hard to get it televised (and if we'd been successful it would have brought money into the club). It's not the club's fault that none of the broadcasters are interested in taking it.Hibsclaret wrote:Another joke by the club
So why can't Clarets Player show it?ClaretTony wrote:Not sure why this is could be considered a joke by the club. Because it can't be relied on to stream live video.Murger wrote:So why can't Clarets Player show it?
I dont know the answer to this but I guess it depends on whether Cameras will be there with an in game production team filming because someone has a duty to film the match and provide footage of the goal / highlights.Murger wrote:So why can't Clarets Player show it?

It’s amazing how Aberdeen managed to do this with their resources....deanothedino wrote:Because it can't be relied on to stream live video.
Evidently their provider SportsmediaGB are better than ours, NeuLionHibsclaret wrote:It’s amazing how Aberdeen managed to do this with their resources....
Fingers crossedBuxtonclaret wrote:Bet365 seem to think they're showing it? With Israel TV having it too, a steam could pop up.
No interest there either. Not a surprise considering their attendancesdermotdermot wrote:Surely it will be televised in Turkey?
Preston did it preseasonHibsclaret wrote:It’s amazing how Aberdeen managed to do this with their resources....
there used to be a lad on here called cutsy who was good on the streaming. I have not been on here for a while. what happened to him ?theroyaldyche wrote:Preston did it preseason
Unfortunately cutsy has been banned I believe, some say it's down to the promotion of a streaming set up?.happyclaret17 wrote:there used to be a lad on here called cutsy who was good on the streaming. I have not been on here for a while. what happened to him ?
Im sure i seen him post today on another threadRaggus wrote:Unfortunately cutsy has been banned I believe, some say it's down to the promotion of a streaming set up?.
It's a shame as they was always helpful when people were asking for links for games they couldn't attend in person.
That's good then, maybe the ban wasn't permanent like was suggested.Reecey1987 wrote:Im sure i seen him post today on another thread
That was an old thread that someone had added a post to ..I saw his name on there as well.Reecey1987 wrote:Im sure i seen him post today on another thread
They are down near the old Park View pub. They've set up a pitch with seats for around 20,000 people, looks a right good set up it does but you do have to pay unless you know Claret Tony (he'll stick you on the guest list)theroyaldyche wrote:The club should be at least putting something on for a game of this size
I have tickets in the CF palDevils_Advocate wrote:They are down near the old Park View pub. They've set up a pitch with seats for around 20,000 people, looks a right good set up it does but you do have to pay unless you know Claret Tony (he'll stick you on the guest list)
If this was just a matter of TV then I would completely understand. Burnley are not an attractive broadcast proposition. But this is the year 2018 and there are alternatives to TV. Aberdeen, a club operating on 10% of our revenue, were able to offer a really nice professional streaming package that was worth the 12.99 I paid for it. I think it's an absolute joke that we can't stream it live. Sends a message to the overseas fans that despite 3 seasons in the Premier League we still have that insular small club mentality.ClaretTony wrote:Not sure why this is could be considered a joke by the club. Exactly. What exactly is Darren Bentley's job description as a media manager if he can't even "manage" to put this on Clarets Player?Oshkoshclaret wrote:If this was just a matter of TV then I would completely understand. Be a damn sight better than jack ****, especially when we know full well they will have a camera there recording itDevils_Advocate wrote:I'm not one for defending the club but you can't just put it on clarets player. You need a director and production team to switch between different cameras. I guess we could just have the long shot camera from the back of the long side which covers the whole pitch but it wouldn't be great
