Can someone help with this one, please?

Trying to get two tickets for family stand (1 adult and 1 juvenile) but when I try to buy online it keeps coming up that I'm only allowed 1 ticket on my clarets number.

I thought the option to create new clarets numbers was suspended, so that's a non starter.

Am I missing something?

Woah! An additional 50 loyalty points if I buy my season ticket seat before general sale - however, I can’t do that because I want to bring my lad, who doesn’t have a season ticket and I want us to sit together. Surely you should get the points as long as you go?

Don't think you are missing anything - it is only one per Clarets Number and new numbers are suspended.

Yet for the last two rounds, people can buy as many tickets as they've wanted on one clarets number?!

Daft.

It’s very stupid to not allow new people to sign up. European football is a draw, especially for young children. This could be a night a young lad or young lass gets hooked and become a lifelong claret. Instead they might choose to save their pocket money and go and watch another club who actual wants and values their support.
I really don’t see the clubs point in doing stupid things like this. I know people on here will defend everything the club do, and will call young people and other potential new fans all kind of names and saying stupid things such as unless you were on in the 80s when we only had just over 1,000 on you should never be allowed anywhere near the turf. But the upshot of this is that stupid rules like this hurt the club and hurt the clubs future.
The club and ticket office are very armature at times. I know now we can afford to survive as a club with no fans due to TV money, but that doesn’t mean all this money and success is going to last forever, people need to realise that.

Spot on. Are a load of rogue greek fans likely to buy tickets for the home ends if the new sign ups are allowed? I very much doubt it.
It didn't stop Aberdeen fans getting tickets for the home ends in that second leg, because presumably, they just got someone they know with a clarets number to get them one. That option isn't there now, but it seems strange that I can't purchase two tickets for this game against Olympiacos on my clarets number, when I could for the Man. United game coming up!

Different competitions, different rules.

You could buy multiple tickets for the Aberdeen and Istanbul games once the season ticket priority period was over.

Very shrewd of the club only giving ST holders until the day before the first leg to decide whether or not to go on, so if we get stuffed in the first leg they've already sold most of the tickets.

Which may be the case for this game - it's all confusing

We were able to get 2 tickets (an extra one for my nephew) on a single number when they went on general sale for the Instanbul game, so I’d expect it to be the same for this game

Out of interest, has anybody found out if STH wanting to move seats for this game get the extra 50points?
As an added incentive season ticket holders who purchase their seat during this period will receive an additional 50 loyalty points on their account

They won't, as they can only claim their own seat in the period where 50 extra points are being awarded.

If a season ticket holder wants to move seats for this game, they will need to wait until the period where season ticket holders can claim their own seat has ended, which coincides with the offer of 50 extra points ending.

I see what you’re saying but as a STH I can still purchase a non STH seat today if I wanted to.

If I did that then I wouldn’t need to purchase my own seat, but why should I miss out on extra 50pts?

I will when I get them, but if they are saying an additional then it should be the 10 + 50

Agreed.

Yeah it’s purely to make £££. They don’t give a **** about loyalty point system.

I don't think you can though? I read it as you can only buy a ticket for your season ticket seat until the priority period ends.

It should be 60, as the club are saying an additional 50 points, but i suspect the club mean 50 points in total, i.e. standard 10 plus bonus 40, totalling an additional 50.

The season ticket seats have now been released. Plenty of decent seats available at the moment.

To answer my earlier query, it is now possible to buy more than one ticket with your clarets number :)

As aggi says there are plenty of seats available, which means either season ticket holders are waiting on the result tomorrow night, sitting elsewhere, or giving this game a swerve!

The ticket office are struggling with the extra demand of ST holders not getting their own seats uploaded on to their cards. With staff travelling to the away Europa ties to dish out tickets it's something they could do without.

Good pricing too.
£15 for adults £10 for u22 and £5 for u18.

No excuse for people not to sell out bearing 8n mind this could get us to the group stages which would be an outstanding achievement

The home leg could be crucial. Gateway to group and against a regular Euro team. Come on you Clarets. Time to roar home our heroes.

Booked my own tickets for the 3 games online (next game showing on my team card app) and another 6 for friends and friends, all uploaded to the cards with no problems at all. I'm guessing I'm just lucky. Can you imagine if there was a thread "The online ticket system worked perfectly" there would be no posts even though it will have worked perfectly for 1000s. Start a thread complaining about the online system...........

'The club and ticket office can be very 'armature' at times' I've not heard them being described as that before.

It's a quite easy process for them to upload to your ST ticket card and if everyone claimed their own seat it would run like clockwork. But fans keep moving seats so need paper tickets printing and either posting or extra staff to be at collection points.
I'm guilty for this as well as I'm busy in Athens and won't purchase until next Tuesday. My seats will have no doubt gone by then.
By giving out the extra 50 points it saved the ticket office money and time.

Surely ordering tickets whilst in Athens is as quick and simple as posting on this forum?

Sorry I misinterpreted what you posted. I wasn't sure if it was one of them "I know 100s of season card holders who have changed seats then again you might just have wanted to tell us that your are in Athens. Hope they have wifi or data out there. Enjoy the game.
