FAO Maple Leafs
Can't agree with your choice of hockey teams to support (I assume that's what your name refers to), but I just wanted to let you know that there are a couple of supporters of the Clarets from the Toronto area on this board. We're planning a get together maybe sometime in September. I'll keep you abreast, if you're interested. UTC.

Re: FAO Maple Leafs
I'm not. Family came from near Alston-on-Moor in 1824. Great-great-great grandfather settled near Hudson, Quebec, and the next generation moved on to near Raglan, Ontario. We've been in the general area ever since. Funny that you should mention the Peterborough Petes, because one of my cousins was drafted by them, although the rest of the family supports the Oshawa Generals. In North America, you have no control over who you're drafted by. "Vipond" is the family name, and we're the first family to have 2 generations playing for the Gennies. If you want my full story, read "Why I love Burnley FC" in the archives. Sorry about the spelling. In the meantime, don't take what I post too seriously. Just trying to have a bit of fun. And, where do you live, exactly? Not "The Borough", I hope.
