Just been to asda in colne and the traffic is pretty bad . Main road through Colne is closed so all traffic being diverted up north valley road so you can imagine the scene. Traffic backed up to the motorway and ques building .

So avoid unless you are going for a few beers or have no alternative.

Could always use backroad from barrowford to barlick to bypass area i suppose

Was up there last night, not too busy. Tonight and Sunday
supposed to be hectic.

Can't be doing with the plastic glasses. :(

Is this the same festival that used to held at Easter in the 90’s?

Just be aware there's a train strike today, if that was your way of getting there.

Not expected to be any trains after 6pm.

Was up there yesterday from about 3pm, good day helped by the decent weather as the pubs weren't too rammed jam full as a lot of folk chose to drink outside.

Probably won't be as good today unfortunately with the bad weather looking set for pretty much all day :-(

I'm fairly sure that it's always been August Bank Holiday. Burnley used to have a Rhythm and Blues Festival - is it that one perhaps that was at Easter?

Should be banned. Heard there was an arrest over the weekend.

It's been cancelled and banned, police seized a metal pole.
