Once upon a time, such requests were answered with genuine, useful and helpful responses. Sad to see the responses on this thread. If you can't help, better not to post.

Piccadilly Line to Earls Court. District Line to Putney Bridge. 10 minute walk by the river to the ground.

The White Horse at Parsons Green used to be a cracking pub, haven't been in for a while.
Don't know if that's on your route, but it's worth a visit.

Parsons Green is about a fifteen minute walk from Craven Cottage.

You won't be able to get the Tube to Putney Bridge tomorrow as there are line closures and a replacement bus service .
Without making things too complicated I would get the Victoria tube line to Victoria and then the District Line to Parson's Green .
Craven Cottage is a 10-15 minute walk from there .

You can also get the tube to Hammersmith which is just under 1.5 miles from the cottage. I believe notting hill carnival is on tomorrow so some areas may be busy.

Edit: Make sure you use contactless on the tube and on any other transport in London. It’s a lot cheaper.
Also just looking and Putney train station is only 1.2 miles from the ground the other side of the river. Could be an option for some people from Waterloo/Vauxhall? Victoria line goes to Vauxhall from kings cross.
Parsons Green is 1.1 miles from the ground, all 3 options are similar distance walk whichever you decide to take.

Craven Cottage first ground I visited in 1978. I remember it being a bit of a hike from any tube station.

Tube is always faster than bus, if the tube is no more than 1 change.

You may find it easiest to get a tube (or overground train) nearer to Fulham/Craven Cottage and then jump on a bus.

Hammersmith is easy place to head for.

Then to find out the bus choices (if you don't fancy the short walk) jump on www.tfl/journeyplanner (or similar) tfl = transport for london.

Ask at KingsX if you can use your bus pass. I'm not sure, it may be that out of London bus passes get you free travel on both the underground and the London buses. (Over 60s in London qualify for "Boris card" which gets free travel on buses and tubes all day, plus trains after 09:30 on weekdays and all day w/ends).

Let's get 3 points tomorrow.

After today's debacle, why would you ever want to go back there?
