Based on the 92 clubs of the Premier and Football Leagues:
There are 6 postcode letter codes with 3 or more league teams playing in that region. For example, BB has Burnley, Accrington Stanley, and Blackburn Rovers. Name the other 5 postcode areas: four of them with 3 teams, and the single postcode area with 4 - and also, name the teams.

Southend is SS, Stevenage is SG - the whole point of the postcode system is that you can't have two postal areas with the same letters, no pun intended.

Tranmere is CH (Chester), so no.
Macclesfield is SK for Stockport, so no.
It's neither L nor M, so no need to look for other Manchester clubs.

North London is Arsenal and Spurs but no-one else; East London is West Ham and no-one else; Leyton Orient is non-league now, as well, though they are in post code E.
The answer's not London.

Yes. Doncaster, Scunthorpe, Grimsby was the last one - though why Scunthorpe and Grimsby are in the same postcode as Doncaster I have no idea.

Which county has the most league clubs?
Off the top of my head I reckon Lancashire has 6 and Greater Manchester has 7.

Are we using proper historical counties or the modern non-ceremonial ones brought in for government purposes (where Manchester, Merseyside, Blackburn and Blackpool are excluded from Lancashire)

Going off your Lancashire excluding Liverpool and Manchester, it has:
Burnley, Blackburn, PNE, Blackpool, Accy, Fleetwood, Morecambe.
Going off the 'proper' Lancs, you can add:
Man City, Man United, Liverpool, Everton, Wigan, Bolton, Oldham, Rochdale, Bolton, Bury.

I thought I was using modern counties but as I had no idea that Blackburn and Blackpool were excluded from Lancashire, then **** knows. Good decision to boot them both out though.
Using proper historical counties, Lancashire would have the most by a fair distance I would have thought, probably followed by Yorkshire.
