With Burton coming up and one people need for the tick.
What's the nearest ground you haven't been to?
Rochdale is mine. I went twice in 1991 only to be told it's off before getting there. I couldn't make the 3rd game arranged for after the season.

If we are talking football league, then it's Carlisle.
Burton will take me to 82 different grounds watching Burney including 69 of the current 92.
Hopefully I'll never get to do all the 92, as 90% of the ones I have left are in the bottom 2 divisions.

Fleetwood, I suppose.
Never been to Everton either.
A lot of my 80+ grounds have been demolished now, which is a shame, because I’ve fantastic memories.

I think there are only currently six Football League grounds I haven't seen a Burnley team play at so it's Burton for me.

Accy for me too. I've worked there on non-matchdays, been on the pitch but never watched a match there. I haven't visited Fleetwood yet.

Forgot about Fleetwood, yes that is closer than Burton. Went to Morecambe in the LC when Eagles scored and we won 3-1.

Watching Burnley, it's probably Rochdale, even though I live in Sheffield.
If it's the 92, then it's possibly Colchester?

Rotherham. If we got them in a quarter-final I wouldn't go, even though it's only 20 minutes away. Nothing good comes from going to Rotherham.

Would agree with you there, away fans who say Burnley is a sh1tehole have obviously never been to watch their team in Rotherham on a cold and very wet Saturday afternoon in winter!

Think its Fleetwood for me.
Was counting the grounds I had been to a few months ago and it was more than 80 - many of whom are not in the football league now.
Not sure we have ever played Fleetwood ?
I think I have done Rochdale & Stockport more than any other away ground. Done Halifax a few times aswell.
Few teams like Huddersfield where I have been to the old and new ground. Man City is another one...Rotherham, Arsenal, West Ham, Chester (!!), Walsall and maybe some more - would need to have a proper think !

Oddly enough it is hard to find if you don't know where it is, but if you find the The Crown pub on Whalley Road (pretty much Clayton really) and look around the corner there it is, tucked away at the edge of a housing estate.

They are one of the few (perhaps the only one) who can claim to have a better attendance per head of the population than Burnley. They average about 2.5k but they play in a village of only about 6k people.

Was there a couple of weeks ago, the New York stadium is excellent and right in the centre of town.

I have never set foot on Rochdale, even though years ago I used to pass it every day going to work. Never been to Fleetwood or Morecambe. Been to Stanley a few times and Bury a couple of times years ago but never to watch Burnley at either venue. Saw Burnley at Bolton a number of times in the 60/70s but never at the new stadium.

That have hosted league football, Chesterfield's new ground although i have been to Saltergate a few times ..and Barrow ..
Of the 'current' 92 i think MK or Oxford's Kassam ( although again went to the Manor Ground ) ...

I saw Owen Coyle make his Burnley debut there. Seen two or three reserve games v Blackpool and the pre-season friendly in 2015.

Sounds like we just played a pre season friendly there. Pretty sure we have never been in same league or drawn them in the cup.
Remember going to Globe - morecambes ground for pre season friendly not that long ago - think we lost 1-0 ?

Once Burton is ticked off next week, I think it'll be Shrewsbury.... although I have been to their old ground.
As for a team's ground that I haven't been to at all, then that would be Northampton.

So do I mate but I do go occasionally and it is great fun. I'm still stunned at how they do so well with the size of crowd and the money (or lack of). A lot has to do with John Coleman. If there is any manager who has done more for one club than Dyche at Burnley it is him. Mr Accrington Stanley.

I went to Shrewsbury's new ground for a reserve game in early 2011. It ended 0-0 and was a dreadful game
