I am still 20m fro Burton upon Trent, so stopped for pre and posting match thread.
Madge raring to go.
New ground and even a chance of a Defour.
Come on you Clarets.

Strong side - will be interesting to see how defour plays and how the vydra/wood partnership works.
Good to see Ward back too...

A strong bench, and Hart, Tarks and Cork have the night off.

Quality team. Here's hoping it stays injury free, and doesn't expend too much energy

Along with Sam being on the bench that is the spine of last Saturdays team.

Disappointed that he hasn’t fielded Saturday’s team tonight.

Thought Hendrick might have got a start and Westwood a rest on the bench. Otherwise can't fault it.

That's a very strong side,no excuses not to progress, can't see Defour playing the ninety, but great to see him back,2-0 to the Clarets.

The sooner we get Defour back in the Premier League games, the better. So for me, him starting is brilliant news. If he wasn't close to match fitness, he'd have been more likely to start on the bench and get 25 minutes.

You beat me to it B.B. unless he’s unfit another sign that Dyche is not taking this cup very seriously despite his speele.

I am in the ground. Parking was easy. No one making their way to the ground, of any number. Thought I had the wrong night, other than the lights were on!
Very few Burton fans! Good turn out from the Clarets.

Evening all from a very Wet and Windy Galway .
Lets hope a few goals for the Clarets will light up the skies .
I think Dyche should have made a few more changes but like said above no injuries is the most important thing .

I disagree the important thing for me is we consolidate after Saturday’s superb performance and give “that” team another chance in this game, also it will help breed confidence.
Defour is my second priority.

So last years starting number 1 and an England International.
3 of our strongest back 4
Our best winger and star player and our record signing up front with our trickiest forward.
Yeah not taking it seriously.
Have a day off.

Defour shot went out for a corner. Came to nothing. We've had more possession.

Our game is on digital radio Blackburn. Typically they've chosen Rovers as their commentary game.

Come on SWclaret
Most of the changes made are players that helped us to finishing 7th last year; only McNeil and Long aren't real first teamers: Heats, Ward, Defour, are pretty decent changes to make. They need minutes & games; Long has rarely let us down and deserves his games in the cup; McNeil needs experience so the perfect game for him and a good chance to try Wood & Vydra up top giving Vydra some more fitness minutes
Pretty decent team I'd say

It's a decent enough team selection, but it's strange how easily we drop to the level of lower league opposition in the cups.
