I know I’m going to get shot down, but I don’t find him funny in the slightest.theroyaldyche wrote:His new show on sky looks brilliant
Aye and by the sounds of it nobody thought your performance Tuesday night was funny eitherBurnleyFC wrote:I know I’m going to get shot down, but I don’t find him funny in the slightest.
Keeping up with his comedic persona with that predictionclaretcarrot93 wrote:Not only is he hilarious he has been predicting for the BBC for this weeks football.

Just the kind of thing I hate. Not a proper fan at all. Absolutely pathetic.claretburns wrote:A boyhood City fan but switched to United in the 1990s, great football fan.
Me neither. Made his name on the back of another person who isn't funny. Ricky Gervais. For some reason I lumped him in with the Paddy McGuinness, Dave Spikey 'on the coat tails of' Peter Kay group. Don't find them funny either, Kay aside, who is ok but his shows all seem a bit samey.BurnleyFC wrote:I know I’m going to get shot down, but I don’t find him funny in the slightest.
The ratings for Gervais’ stand up show on Netflix would suggest differently.Wisswosswass wrote:Me neither. Made his name on the back of another person who isn't funny. Ricky Gervais. I'll take a 3-1 though.
There's a consensus that it was Kay who pinched all of Spikey's work with Phoenix Nights and took all the glory...Wisswosswass wrote:Me neither. Humour is subjective. Each to their own. As a general rule though my sense of humour is pretty wide ranging.nyclaret wrote:The ratings for Gervais’ stand up show on Netflix would suggest differently.
Absolutely. Some people actually find Sarah Millican funny, for instance. Then again, some people enjoy being tied to a bed and whipped until they bleed.Wisswosswass wrote:Humour is subjective.
I would rather endure the latter than listen to MillicanFactualFrank wrote:Absolutely. Some people actually find Sarah Millican funny, for instance. Then again, some people enjoy being tied to a bed and whipped until they bleed.
Can you put me down for neither please?joey13 wrote:I would rather endure the latter than listen to Millican
