They've probably been on twice..once against Bournemouth and again today ...so they May have a point? So to speak.

It’s unrealistic to compare apples and pears. Of course there’s been worse performances but because we remember when the club was very different we can’t keep comparing back to that.

If Sir Mo starts running terrible races over the next 12 month would it be realistic to say that it doesn’t matter because his mum remembers when he could only crawl??

We need to move with the club and understand that although it’s amazing being where we are now particularly for those who remember the tough days, it’s still ok to question performances at this level

I've been going home and away since the mid 90s and the stuff Dyche has served up for a large part of his tenure is in my view some of the worst football I've seen, and I include the Waddle and 19 games without a win under Cotterill. While it was getting results it was just about tolerable but that has changed. I also fail to see the logic that because we were rubbish in the 80s and 90s we can't expect a team that has cost millions of pounds to be able to string 3 passes together.

It seems some of the performances from last season have been wiped from memory.

Last season is not relevant now though is it? Yes it was great but as SD says it's all about the next game and these next games at the moment aren't good enough

Let’s be honest, we all turn up these days knowing we won’t compete in an evenly contested game, but will hit it long (I don’t mean lower division hoof anywhere and hope), and hope something comes off of our player as a second ball. It’s crap to watch, but when you’re winning you see past it.

Right now we are playing far worse football than early last season, when we played some pretty stuff, and it’s horrible. I walked off yesterday, and just for an hour, thought to myself do I really want to go on and see us beaten 6-0 by chelsea, having 12% possession? Of course I’ll be there, but 3 unbeaten in the Premier League and I wasn’t the only one thinking it, as fans were saying the same talking to each other walking off. It’s not right.

We finished last season and have started this one looking like relegation candidates and it's going to take a monumental effort to address and change it.

Fans are realistic in the main and some very loyal and sensible fans are unhappy because we continue to under perform and launch the ball into dead space instead of looking to keep possesion.

Why for instance, do we stick to the same throw in routine whereby everyone has to adopt a defensive framework before the ball can be released? It's been like this since SD arrived and stood us in good stead defensively but we rarely seem to benefit from a throw in, ever. Still we never change the intent even when deep in the opposition half.

Predicability is regress not progress.

Last season and indeed the Div 4 dross are irrelevant up to a point.

I'd really like to see less of the "worst display ever" (because it clearly isn't cos we drew and actually defended fairly well) and you cannot just judge SD on this season. He has rebuilt his team over a six year period to where we are today. Thats cuts him a lot of slack with people (quite rightly)

Some clown in the JHU was giving Joe Hart dogs abuse yesterday, yes Joe Hart, effin horrible Hart when Mee made a mistake. Everything was Hart's fault apparently. Crack pot. The reaction of some fans is tedious, some were losing the plot towards the end. I don't know how they get by in life. Anyway we've only 2 home games to endure between now and the end of November and I'm not bothering with Chelsea as I can't be doing with 1:30 Sunday kick offs.

I'll rephrase it, it is a massive inconvenience getting to Burnley for 1:30 on a Sunday. Was late for the Watford game due to a crash on the m6 and the time of kick off spoils the whole day. Perhaps I'm getting older and it's not the be all and end all anymore.

Dyche has had to do battle with seriously good footballing teams on a regular basis, teams that cost at least ten times more to assemble than ours.
In order to compete with lack of financial resources, he has to cobble teams together and attempt to fight off the likes of city, arsenal and united.
Despite these limitations, Burnley have served up some wonderful stuff
occasionally.
When a truly good side emerges, strong and capable, like the one that took us from the championship as leaders, flair football can be played.
When a struggling team has to focus on survival, all that has to be ignored for another day. We are as yet not back to our best, but once the side begins to gel again, the decent standard and exciting football will inevitably return.

We could learn a lot from the Huddersfield fans yesterday. They were super loud boisterous and maintained the same level of support throughout the game irrespective of the scoreline and the fact they only had two shots on goal, one less than us.

They did go quiet for a while but yes the fans and the manager do seem a decent lot.. And the gaffer believes in his team.

The squad, football and atmosphere is worse now than it was in our first season after promotion.

The bank balance looks better and we've a new training ground but everything else is going down hill an more than likely to be back in the championship next season

We will be competitive in the Championship with Colon in charge.
