There are quite a few different groups of fans having a proper whinge at the moment, that saints one is a good read though.

A few comments there about wanting to be in the championship where they can win games instead of aiming for 17th in the PL each season.

They don't appear to have major whoppers on there like we do on here.

Ive not a problem with the results were getting. Its the football. Swap our 1-0s, 2-1s for 4-3s, 3-2s and Id be delighted.

Take Man U on saturday. If that was a dismal 1-0 win the fans wouldnt have been happy. 2-0 down at half time, 1 goal pulled back and the place is bouncing. Resulted in a great 3-2 come back and the dark cloud was lifted.

The PL Bubble will burst sooner or later...I prefer the football league stuff on quest tbh it's a bit more unpredictable.

How many clubs win 4-3 or 3-2 on a regular basis coming from behind?

The premier league product is dying in the UK, fans of clubs in the teams out of the top 6 are losing interest because there clubs are only bothered about the money there businesses are making and not the entertainment on offer or what fans think because the money is more valuable. Empty stadiums wouldn't even hit them that hard due to the TV revenue home and abroad.
The cheating players and managers, poor refereeing, influx of average foreign players has all come together to make it not enjoyable to the majoity of British people

The PL certainly isn't all it's hyped up to be.

Whilst clubs like Man U. and Liverpool have millions of fans in Asia and other parts of the world the Premier league will still receive huge amounts revenue through TV rights.

I still think the PL is far more competitive than La Liga for example. Apart from Barca, Athletico and Real Madrid who else can challenge their league, likewise in Germany apart from the top two.

The only way to judge if it is really dying are television viewing figures.

These seem to depend not on poor football but on the performances of the big clubs, and big clubs being in the league.

Using manutd as a like for like example with Burnley is akin to a greasy spoon competing with a Michelin starred eatery . We simply don’t have the quality to play that kind of football , give Dyche Rashford , Pogba and the other one with the huge c0ck and we’d entertain alright.

That is a the best solution. They should join a league with weekly fixtures along with the other European Arab or Russian backed Zillionaires. Money wouldnt be the same but it would level it and be more entetaining than now.

The unofficial European super league has nicely penned out with most seasons most clubs in the big leagues all obliging . The prem ( aside from the big 6) has become the new championship , even 7th will be lucky to get a Europa spot most years

How dare fans say that the PL is not as good/entertaining/ competitive etc., etc?

Football is soooooo much better now than it has ever been ---so lots of fans tell me when I talk about the football played in the 50s. 60s and 70s in a game when players could tackle and were allowed to do so and we definitely had more goals scored than these days.

The PL was the best thing to happen to English football and, the way things are going, the Championship will be going the same way with more rich owners taking over clubs.

Each to their own. We may be having a difficult start to the season, but to slam our club and then go on and slam the whole of the Premier League is bonkers. I really, really don't like Arsenal, but was in front of the TV applauding that Ramsey goal at the weekend. I could go on... Frankly, seeing the skill levels of some of the players that come to the Turf now is pretty amazing. I contrast that with watching Steve Taylor up front when I was in my 20s, seriously wondering if he possessed any more talent than I did. I'm going to enjoy the ride. It won't be for many years, given the imbalance in resources, so relax.

My point isnt to play like Utd. I used that game as an example. Take all our boring 1-0 wins over the past 5 years and swap them for 3-2 wins with loads of chances at both ends. OT was bouncing in the second half. Had they perform under par for a 1-0 win it would be a different story. Yet pounts wise theyd be no difference.

All football clubs have fickle fans and all clubs have moaners. Read any forum and you will find them for sure.

I’ll bet that City even have fans that don’t like Guardiola, or his subs and Liverpool will have fans suggesting Klopp needs a specialist defence coach and suggesting stuff like get Carragher in and other nonsense.

It’s just football and it’s all part of the ride! Try and enjoy it!
