I think all the badges are dated and rightly so.

They look really nice, but the postage seems a bit excessive at 3.99. I'll just pick one up from the club shop.

I'd hope they aren't making a profit on these though.

I go the traditional way buy a poppy off the poppy seller. Can't see what a football badge as got to do with Remembrance Sunday. And them lasting a lifetime 'quote'defeats the object of raising money to some degree.

I'd like to think most people who wear a poppy would donate every year regardless.
You could always keep the poppy you bought off a poppy seller for the following year if you are that tight

Or wear a badge that lasts 'quote'a lifetime ... I don't understand the Burnley Badge.

Nope, this is the "normal" poppy, i should clarify. This new "fashion item" poppy trend doesn't sit well tbh, especially not the blinged up diamante ones....

I'd like to think nobody felt compelled to donate to anything every year. Its a shame that freedom of choice has gone out of the window with Poppies, I personally don't usually buy one but choose to support other causes with less visible manifestations. It doesn't mean I don't appreciate or value the sacrifice of others, I just don't feel the need to outwardly celebrate making a donation.

I bought the BFC poppy last year in a moment of weakness though, and it does look good.

Nobody says you have to donate anything.

I personally wouldn't wear a poppy, or any other charitable token if I had not donated though.
Most people donate a couple of quid or something. You would have to be pretty tight to begrudge that
