Cats **** in front garden

I know that there was a similar thread about dogs recently but I am having a chronic problem with cats at the moment. Large houses in my area are being bought by developers and turned into perhaps up to six to eight flats. They are being bought by young professional types who seem to have a liking for felines. These cats tend to wander over and use my front garden as a toilet. When seeing an individual cat relieving itself, I have occasionally troweled it up and dumped it back from whence it came. After this scenario occurred today, one of the inhabitants dropped a note through my door saying that I have been seen and am guilty of a criminal offence. She has said that cctv cameras are to be installed and legal action will follow if this happens again. I am furious. It is her **** and shall be returned to her property if it happens again. I’m just not so sure what the law is on this.I can’t seem to find any concrete rules. Does anyone have any idea? A petty matter, I know but, when up to eight different cats decide to visit you on a regular basis, it can be quite a large problem.

I had this with my back garden. Like you, I nicely place it back into the cat owner's property, but recently I was given some powder/tablets of some sort that you put down and it apparently wards them off. I've also tried sticking small bit of bamboo stick around the soil where it likes to go, to stop it sticking it's ass in there. I've not had much recently

Personally I love cats but I hate the fact they use my front and back garden as the local public Cat Litter tray.

Do what I did and invest in a high power water pistol ...

Now you have to know it doesn't hurt the cat and hey as we all know 99% of Cats hate water.... So its not cruelty...

Plus its fun watching them jump 3 feet in the air as the water hits them mid **** why watch Cat videos on Youtube when you can make your own fun ambushing them crouching in your flower beds....

A few tea bags soaked in Olbas Oil scattered around has worked for me. Well, that and
a few upturned tent pegs buried in the soil just below the surface.

Was absolutely sick and tired of sticking my hand in catsh!t whilst gardening and my losing
the abilty to feed the birds because of fear of putting them in mortal danger.

Resent having to fork out hard earned cash to keep other people's pets off my property.

We had a similar problem about 5 years ago. We bought the primrose detectors (at post 3) and within a couple of days the problem was solved. We still have them working 24/7, they are plugged into the mains via an outside socket. We have one at the front and one round the back. They've gone up in price a lot but it might be worth e- mailing them to enquire if they offer a trial - money back guarantee etc. Best thing we've bought. Hope you get the problem solved. Oh and if you have a dog just check that the decibels don't affect it, I can't remember if the Primrose just affect cats and not dogs.

Having a conversation today regards cats/dogs etc. If you had a pet you didn't want or if you found a stray one in the sixties early seventies Burnley had a destructors yard for the unlucky ones....all caged and awaiting electrocution. Not that Long ago.what were people thinking back then?

It's not that outlandish. There was some backwards person on here not too long ago, who disposed of his pets by giving them his sleeping tablets and drowning them
