Dyche
The football on offer is woefull, no knee jerk reaction
This has been brewing since 2nd half of Leicester at home last season.
And some will have Dyche streets ahead of Eddie Howe because of our 7th place finish last season..
I know what football I’d prefer to watch!

There is something definitely wrong at the turf at the moment. To many players going through the motions no fight at all. We cannot keep blaming the Europa league , maybe it's time to release the shackles and start to play instead of defending right from the outset.

I agree certainly something wrong this season but changing the manager is not the answer IMO.

Was nodding off after 60 mins. Game over and dull. No attempt to really change anything. We look woefully short at the moment.

Your right......
it’s time for all the people who don’t understand how our football club is run and will continue to run, who complain about every performance, who find a scapegoat at every performance....
To Go And Support Another Team...

Unfortunately our super proactive board won’t pull the trigger no matter how bad it gets.

We need a big upturn in quality at the club and you don’t get that by targeting overrated championship players.

Afraid to say but Dyche ball will continue for a while yet.

Hart looks livid. and hes been woefuly exposed. Got to feel for him.

Cork was shoddy today.

We actually played well until 1 nil. But same as usual. As soon as they take the lead we have nothing.

Lets not forget chelsea are an excellent side. And thats without hazard. Frightening on counter.

What we need is a billion pounds. Fulham bought promotion and they're still below us - that's the time to be shocked at your side. Not when we have a tiny budget compared to the rest of the Premier League.

Conceding goals for fun, we never even have shots anymore, gutless lack of effort from the players.

Not that old chestnut again
Opportunity to progress with money & decent players
Dyche has done well getting us there time to let someone else with more to offer take us onto the next level.

Why would you sack a manager who got us to 7th in the Premier League last season and has us currently sat 15th in the Premier League?

Here's a question: For those wanting him sacked, who would you bring in? You can't want him gone yet not have a better replacement, that wouldn't make any sense.

Its easy to say Dyche has to go. The fact is chelsea are still run by a billionaire, have an outstanding squad and an exciting manager.

When they have a bad day and we have a good one we can compete. But you have to be lucky to get both.

Can dyche improve and evolve? Absolutely. But hes still the best manager for us right now.

how did he get us to 7th in the PL without the 1 billion you mentioned earlier ? You can't have it both way Frank. The management and the team need to drastically pick up the performance levels starting next week. I don't care it was Chelsea today, I care that once again we see Hendrick at number 10 (unfathomable decision) instead of Vydra, a defence that is hapless and a strike force that has no service (like against Huddersfield so it's not just Chelsea). We aren't even doing the basics anymore

Well we clearly over-performed. The Hendrick instead of Vydra in 10 was bizarre though, but to consistently stay up, season after season, it ultimately will take money. I don't see how we have a right to complain when we've spent 3 seasons in the Premier League when bigger clubs have been relegated.

Just enjoy teams like Chelsea coming to Burnley.

It’s not games like today that will make the difference. We need to improve but in the first half there were some more positive signs.

Defour and Brady back, give it a bit of time for them to get back up to speed and we will be looking better.

The football isn’t great and I do think we are suffering from a poor summer of recruitment but getting rid of Dyche would be ridiculous.

I'd prefer to see us string a few passes together, have a few attempts on goal and learn how to defend.

Absolutely no question whatsoever we have seriously punched above our weight and last season was epic and probably the pinnacle, I also think you and others need to realise that people aren't necessarily complaining by voicing obvious concern about unfathomable tactical decisions.

We proved in the first 10 mins when we pass the ball we are very decent, so why for the following 80 did we just hoof it ? It's not good enough to say "oh it's Chelsea" - we where as poor against Huddersfield

Last season we destroyed them at their place and only won 2-1 , something is seriously wrong at Turf Moor , you obviously can’t see it .

Some could say Mr Dyche is Set for life with a 3.5m a year for 5 years, and has taken his eye off the ball.

If you're not there full time to manage these big players and big squads, application can start to slip.

He could do with doing a few solid weeks up here to sort it out.
Being here 3 days a week isn't showing much commitment to the club, and a managers efforts reflect in his team...

Conceding the goal, clearly had a psychological impact on our game, so I can't answer that as I don't know. But we are clearly wanting more than the club can achieve. We've got to be one of the poorest clubs in the league and when we sign somebody we no doubt have to give them a relegation clause - players will go to a team like Wolves when they don't have to worry about that sort of clause.

People need to give the club a break. We could quite easily be playing League One football and fans would be crying, still.

It is alright posting "Just enjoy teams like Chelsea coming to Turf Moor" but if the players show no real desire and we are continually being outclassed by the opposition then it becomes a bit of a painful chore.

How much money do you actually think we have? How can we attract better players than what we have with such a limited cash flow. We don’t just get the money upfront at the beginning of the season with a “there you go, fill yer boots”
I’d be interested to hear who you think would be better for this club than our current manager and his team, but if you want to throw a few sensible names in, be my guest.
What next level do you expect us to be on? Enlighten us. Competing with the Everton’s, Spurs, or even the Watford’s of the premiere league, who all have extremely wealthy owners and throw billions at it (wages, signing on fees, bonuses etc).
We are in the Premier league, against everybody’s expectations we compete with 75% of the league, thanks to our manager.

When you have a good thing, the grass very rarely is greener. I strongly believe that far too many people are getting way way way ahead of themselves here.

We finished seventh last season and have experienced European football this season, but for one reason or another, things just aren’t working out at the moment.

Being trigger-happy right now, in my opinion, would be absolutely suicidal. Okay, In the short term, we might pick up a couple of quick victories, but open your eyes and see that our club is building in a very strong manner, especially off the pitch.

Stop kidding yourselves about expecting to finish in the top half every year. We are playing terribly at the moment and still, there are a handful of teams below us in the league. We will get good results again soon… We just need to be patient.

Stick together on this one and fir God’s sake, Don’t jump the gun!

Pretty much how I’d sum it up, we were sloppy but they’re top quality.

Still not sure what Wood offers at the moment, weak and cant win a header.

Can everyone please calm down. We may have lost but our performance was still a big improvement on the last few weeks. Stats wise our pass accuracy was 81% which is the first time it has been above 75%.

Chelsea are a very good team. No need for over reaction.

Disagree (and it's nice to actually have a well mannered debate on here!), I just want to see some intensity and intent - I'm fully aware and have mentioned already we are punching well above our weight - doesn't mean we shouldn't try to make the most of our position and I don't feel the way we set up enables us to do that. Now, that's down to the manager, our style of football is abysmal and unnecessary as we have good players and have proved last year that when we actually get the ball down we can open teams up. I'm yet to see a football team disobey the managers orders for 30+ games, it comes from the manager and I for one would like him to switch things up (i'm not expecting him to do so though) because if he doesn't we may well go down which would be a shame.
