It's brilliant news for the lad who has only just made his way into the U21 set up with Ireland. Would love to see him get a cap in one of the two games with the friendly the most likely. He's got to get into the smaller squad though first, but this shows he's very much in the reckoning for his country.Buxtonclaret wrote:Congratulations, Jimmy!

Brady back in after about 105 minutes back, seems a bit odd to me.

They've been monitoring him, O'Neill & Keane were even watching him in the u23 games. And, they need him.Bordeauxclaret wrote:Brady back in after about 105 minutes back, seems a bit odd to me.

Excellent news. Even if he doesnt make it with us now, hes done enough to make us a good few quid if we decide to sell him.
Personally would let him stay at Hearts until summer then bring him in for competition here next season. Who knows could even start with him and gibson next year.

It's not like they're spoilt for choice though is it?Bordeauxclaret wrote:Brady back in after about 105 minutes back, seems a bit odd to me.

Worried about Brady, I'm glad he's back but if he gets crocked on international duty I'll be well ******.
Absolutely buzzing for Jimmy Dunne, what a great reward for his performances for Hearts. I hope he makes the pitch.

Maybe we should be getting Dunne recalled from his loan!
Re: ARTICLE: Brady and Dunne named by Ireland
Well done to all our players being picked for the squad. Having looked at the list of players and the teams they play for, I see only an unknown Lpool goalkeeper (to me) is the only 1 from any team in the 8 of the Premiership. How times have changed.

Will be interesting to see if Dunne goes back out on loan in January / extends his loan at Hearts. Personally can't see Dyche wanting to keep him here as he doesn't seem to be the most proactive for blooding youngsters and he has 4 senior pro's with a lot more experience / time playing for him.

2 of those senior pros have got ongoing injuries/hernias, if they are not fully fit in 8 weeks time then I think SD would have little choice but to keep Jimmy here as cover for Mee and Long.Goobs wrote:Will be interesting to see if Dunne goes back out on loan in January / extends his loan at Hearts.
