Thing is he's right, both the Pen for Watford and the Saints goal being disallowed are crazy decisions....could be the difference between us and Saints going down come May. For that reason, I think the ref had a great game

A penalty can be missed. They scored a perfectly good goal. Massive difference.

I don't think he came across as thick. Just passionate and hacked off. Did well not to swear on live tv. I would have !

I think somebody from soton saw his interview 2/3rds of the way through and told him to shut it. His voice dropped at least 1 octave and he became noticeably calmer. Fine coming his way no doubt.

Love that. He showed passion for what he believed and is likely to get a reprimand for slating the officials, but he had every right to say what he thought.

Absolutely right. The premier league have press conferences, pre and post games. Players are under a duty to give interviews yet the PL seem to insist on nothing actually being said, just the same old ‘boys done well’ rubbish week in and week out.
