Actually, I do like him. He's shown tremendous and unparalleled loyalty to the club. I just don't see him being the main striker much longer, especially with the kind of service he's been getting lately. It's not his fault, but he's lost at least half a step, and he wasn't the paciest player we had to begin with. I hope the club does find a role for him after this deal is up, but I only foresee him being a late sub off of the bench sometime in the near future. He's Claret through and through, and it would be a travesty to see him go elsewhere at this stage of his career. Besides, the female Burnley fans obviously have a soft place for him in their blessed hearts.

He's Welsh. Or at least had a fortnights holiday in Llandudno which entitles you to play for them.

Most of his heart is claret and blue, the other bit is a welsh dragon, thats the worst bit, glad hes got a deal sorted out, i like big Sam and all hes done for us.
