Hasn’t helped himself with his Les Ferdinand, Euro ‘96 story. He’s a groper.

Sexual assault “ by touching “ not sure if that is a slap of an arse type offence or something far more serious

I hear all sorts of stories about him when I'm up in the North East, he's not the fans favorite we all think he is up there, due to his behavior.

Easy target though, to be fair. That's not to say he's innocent either.

This guy doesn't do himself any favours, grabbing someones arse is not going to help his popularity, i wonder if he had been on the lash that day.

He has proved incapable of looking after himself, many times. If he was with others, at the time, they should have kept him in order. No idea what the charge means, or whether an apology would have sufficed, at the time . He is an open goal, for those who seek to take advantage.

I fear for the bloke - his behaviour has exhibited quite a few signs of mental instability. I sincerely hope the pressure of this case doesn't cause him to "do something silly" as the euphemism goes.

A very sad state of affairs...
Paul Gascoigne really is proving to be a complete and utter fool. He needs help more than ever before it gets too far out of control.

Very sad.

Has had some real cretins associate themselves with him over time. Has had some bad luck. And has made some terrible decisions (in life and football).

Ultimately though, hard to say it but he is and should be responsible for his own actions. Only then will things change if ever.

Sad. Could and should have been a national hero forever.

He's a tool of the highest order though it's a crying (pun intended) shame he's made such a horses arse of his life post football. He's an alcoholic whose never really got to grip with the illness, add that to his naturally crazy personality was always a heady mix. I remember a sad story about him years ago when they'd roped him in to do some studio work with a promise of more to come if it went ok. Gazza literally couldn't face the camera without a drink and a turned up for filming with a lily savage style wig on insisting he either wore it or didn't go on. George Best was also at the studio and realised Gazza was a mess and took him aside and gave him a few slugs from his "coke" bottle. gazza perks up goes on without the wig then buggers off at the break and went on some bender. He's had so much help and endless stays at the priory (often paid for) the FA did alsorts to be fair but ultimately he's gotta help himself
