Think the side bet is for charity - can’t see it listed anywhere on sky.

How are they getting away with these two old houndogs playing a few shots and scripted banter for $9m dollars ? I’m guessing it’s part funded by the bookies ? Sounds like a PPV uber mug fest . Is this what Fred Trueman and indoor league died for !? I’m off for a cold beer to wash down my fried chicken and collared greens anyway

This sham may have been viable 10-15 years ago, not now though, that boat has sailed. I wonder how much fun it would be if the two players were playing with their own money!

From what I read, customers aren’t exactly breaking down the doors to pay the PPV fee.

I’m not a golf fan and that bollock head on talk sport Darren Gough was saying it’s not aimed at your ardent golf fan, they are aiming at non golf fans in an attempt to get them interested in the game !

So the way to attract non golf fans is to charge then $20 to watch it? I can’t see this one taking off Darren ! Or your just chatting shite again as usual..

I'm a golf fan and I couldn't care any less about this. The yanks are a strange breed though wouldn't surprise me if it was a big hit out there!

It's a bit of a joke really but they have maintained a competetive edge at the highest level.

The USA love this legend stuff.

I hope the winner donates the money to various charities though.

With Mickelson’s tax issues I doubt that very much

Looked like Phil had it on 17 but Tiger chipped in. Phil missed the putt so it's all square going up the last. Enjoyed this more than I thought. Doubt id of paid if it was ppv here though.

Don't keep up to speed with this stuff, I take it he is a naughty boy?

Why they bother when they will never run out of money regardless of how much tax they pay is baffling.
