I think perhaps PETA ought to launch a national campaign to allow sheep to keep their woolly jumpers on, year after year, until they are far too overheated and scarcely able to move - as well as being fly-blown. I doubt the sheep would be as keen.

A PETA representative was on the the news yesterday morning...the woman talked so much crap she came across as mentally ill.

It is just a bit of a publicity stunt. However the woman from PETA said that it was a creative and fun way to reach the public with the facts. But the fact is that the village name is derived from the old word for Well.
