Challenge it with the bank / ombudsman.

Lloyds sent me a cheque for about £90 after twice denying I had PPI on a credit card. I complained to the bank and the ombudsman and a month later I got just over a £1000 which included £75 for their original cock up.

With northern Rock I got £500 back from a loan and they sent me copies of the paperwork. The Lloyds credit card went back to 1998 and there was no paperwork. I'd go back to the ombudsman, lloyds did everything they could not to pay out.
